That’s nothing, in 1977 my mom, purchasing agent for a USDA research lab, bought a 10 MB Hard Drive for use with the University’s PDP11-70 Computer. I saw it after it came in, it was just slightly smaller than our Washing Machine. It was retail over $10,000, but she haggled them down to $9,000.
