You are familiar with the classic baked Ham slices with sliced Pineapple on top, yes?
One of my Grandmother’s Church friends made a variation of this for socials where the baked Ham & Pineapple was encased in Jello ( I think it was Pineapple as well, I’ve spent decades forgetting this. ) sliced into squares and served with the meal. You could count on this at every meeting where food was served.
It was a unique experience, but no where near the rolling disaster in the Video.
Yes, I’m quite familiar with putting pineapple slices on ham and sometimes cherries in the centers. But, as with a lot of things, I’m the odd person out. I love ham and I love pineapple. I just can’t stand to have them together. Though, I won’t say no to a plate of it were it offered to me. I like free food.
So that’s a No on Hawaiian Pizza for @WheretheSnakesReign . I’m the only one in my family that likes the Pineapple + Ham combo just about any way it is served.
@mgosdin Yeah, I’m that person too haha. My mother love it though and the holiday ham+pineapple. Hot fruit is just an odd concept for me. Though…apple pie if fine for some reason. I think the vanilla ice cream helps
