Charter Spectrum - Montana - 59722
I’ve been watching Anime Network for over a month but question why Spectrum has the content only on SD and not in HD if it’s a paid subscription channel.
Would there be anyone that moderates the on demands side for cable and get in contact with them to work something out where the content is in HD and not limited to SD?
I’ll check this out for you. Not sure about the content for Spectrum (Charter) myself, so I’ll get with the AN Team.
Got a couple of questions for you:
Are you getting the Subscription VOD content or the Free VOD content? In other words, are you getting a whole season of anime each week or one episode at a time?
If you’re getting the SVOD, are you saying that it’s only at SD specs?
We’re trying to establish if this is something on our end, or on their end. Let me know.

I am getting the Subscription VOD (If it were the free version and I know from having the free VOD in the past, I would have the HIDIVE ad and the old Anime Network Bumper before the program began) which is getting me the entire season (sometimes even the movies if offered) But I also think some of the content that’s still in the on demand I’m sure have already expired and shouldn’t be in there anymore like- Mitsuboshi Colors for example. Compare the current content that’s on Spectrum and what would be on Xfinity right now and there’s a big difference.
And yes, it only gives me SD as the viewing option.

Mitsuboshi Colors does not expire until 10/20/2023; all shows should be up on your service for one year. This show was loaded on October 20, 2022.

There is a difference between Spectrum (formerly Time Warner) and Spectrum (formerly Charter). Charter is SVOD and Time Warner is FVOD.
I see. Yeah, I have Charter Spectrum here in Montana. One other example I could mention about the on demand menu layout that boggles me is with Heart Throb. All of its episodes aren’t in a single folder and instead laid out as if it were a stand alone program and in some cases with other programs some of their episodes are there but in a completely different folder to its own self. Sakamoto could have all of its episodes there… but two or four of them are separated in a separate file instead of it being in one folder.
I’ve had others tell me the same thing about shows being split between folders, I can assure you that’s not how they’re sent out, this is something Charter does all by themselves.
