It may be a strange premise, but an ex-ballerina is mistaken for a terrorist and it works. Itās a good story and I like the Ridebacks ā a cross between a motorcycle and a robot. Because of her ballet skills, Rin is a natural for these machines, but she also becomes a target of the government. However, she learns to love dancing once again and finally frees herself from her motherās shadow, while the real terrorists try to bring down the unwanted government.
Recently watched this one and I thought it was pretty good. With Halloween soon approaching, this might be a perfect one to watch.
Alone.
In the dark.
I would definitely recommend āBeautiful Bones: Sakurakoās Investigationā. The artwork and music are beautiful. The story is a bit of a mystery, which isnāt completely solved. Of course it needs another season to really untangle the knots. But the story of the friendship between Sakurako and Shotaro adds a wonderful element to the anime. There is even some mystery there!
I would also recommend āThe Perfect Insiderā. Itās another wonderful mystery, but more on the psychological side, with a very twisted beginning / ending. It also explores emotions and the relationships of the main characters. Itās a little on the deep side. I also loved the great OP animation.
I would also mention a couple of my favorites like āMiss Monochromeā and āDiabolik Loversā. The new seasons did not disappoint!
I also enjoyed Kagewani, a terrific horror story. Young Black Jack was an amazing story and gives good insight to the later story. Comet Lucifer was another excellent anime this season. I will just list the rest that I really enjoyed this past season -
Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon
Concrete Revolutio
Dance with Devils
The File of Young Kindaichi Returns 2
Garo: Crimson Moon
God Eater
K: Return of Kings
Noragami Aragoto
One Punch Man
Seraph of the End: Battle in Nagoya
Ushiro and Tora
Utawarerumono The False Faces
World Trigger
Granted, I havenāt seen all the Fall season yet, so I may be adding more to this list!
I think you summed things up nicely Wicca. Other series I would add would include Brave Beats, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron Blooded Orphans, DD Fist of the North Star II, Owarimonogatari (it really started growing on me), and Attack on Titan: Junior High.
Iād like to recommend āZombie Loanā. Itās playing on CR at the moment. Itās a bit unfinished and could use another season, but if you donāt mind that, itās a good story.
9 Animes You Need to Watch This Spring! (The Dan Cave w/ Dan Casey)
I recommend āA Place Further Than the Universeā, mostly because itās something a little different. Some didnāt like it, not sure why. Itās a nice girlfriends type story - not just the kids, but the adults too.
I donāt think I would have the nerve to go all the way to the Antarctic when I was in school. That is why this caught my interest. One girlās dream caught on and she was joined by others. It turned out to be very bittersweet, but I wonāt spoil it for you. There was a very good reason the girl wanted to go to Antarctica. It was nice when she connected with the others as well as finding what she needed to move on. One of the adults experienced the same thing too, I think.
All in all, it was a good anime. The art was very well done, as was the story. I also enjoyed the music. The anime was a lot of fun!
My current recommendation is āA Day Before Usā, a very good college romance. story. There are two seasons and a third is ācoming soonā. The episodes are very short - only 2-3 minutes, but the story is very cute and sweet.
I especially enjoyed the last episode of season 2 that brought everything full circle.
You can catch it on Anime Planet or YouTube (legally) and you need to watch it with the closed captions, if it doesnāt do it automatically. Enjoy!
