I really like these.
Actually, I’m really loving the entire soundtrack for this.
Definitely much better than the first season to me.
Ehh…say what you want about the content of both seasons, but the music in the first was divine. This music here is good…but it can’t hold a candle to the amazing Opening “The Light Before We Land” (which is song in English btw), and Ending “Dopo Il Sogno” (which is song in Italian fyi). Those songs blew me away.
The opening to Il Teatrno is haunting, and it fits. Hell it even sneds a chill up my spine when you watch it before an episode. And I LOVE how creepy they made everything look with the little girl holding the gun and running on the beach and stuff (is it drawn? Clay? Live Action? I can’t tell…but it’s fitting and imaginive). It’s a very impressive opening. And although the song is haunting I feel like it’s kind of generic. The original season’s opening had a lot of spirit, and feeling behind it. This feels like it’s got something behind it, but not as much if you know what I mean. I love it, but it’s not like the Op and Ed of the original. Ending was just ok.
You know, I posted that because I like it, nothing more.
Since I’ve been watching this recently, I though i would post the ED.
Something about the music makes me feel very nostalgic. I love it!

Just to go off topic a bit.
have you ever looked up other songs by the Delgados? They had great potential.
.
Texhnolyze! Usaully I’m kinda meh with the intros/outtros or only like one or the other, but it’s a twosome with this show! The first song is techno but really dark and foreboding, yet the ending is a nice little acousric diddy. Good stuff people.
The Coffee God: Yeah I know…but I like to talk
Funkgun: Nah never thought to do that. Ganna listen to those songs right now…
I’m the same. Sometimes.
The second opening for Orphen is even better than the first.
The OP is great, as to be expected from Back On. I’m sure you know how much I love them.
ADV has always had great taste in picking up the good Bee Train series and series with great music. Also ADV seem to be fans of Back On (Air Gear, Murder Princess among others). I wonder if someone there is reading my mind.
Samurai Gun
With this… I summon PretearHimeno!
One of my absolute favorites with Yoko Ishida on vocals.
If only you could - we miss her!
Hear that Pretear? Are your ears burning? Come back to us!
(great song too!)

So i am going through all the openings, to see if Berserk is on here, and run across this gem.
Dude, talk about addicting pop. Is the anime anywhere near as good as the opening??

It’s good, but if you’re expecting a cheery, slapstick fun sort of comedy based on the opening then you’ll be shocked to find out it’s a serious, sci-fi/drama anime. It’s good but it’s not what the opening leads you to believe, plus Misaki Chronicles is actually season two of Divergence Eve, so you’re better off starting with season one. If not, then you’ll be pretty confused on what’s happening in season two.
These rock too.
I was just thinking of posting these today. You beat me to it Coffee God!
I just love the music in Le Portrait de Petit Cossette.
