Sounds like a good time for me to go back and watch this in English. Surprisingly I find fans that are amazed that I made it through the show in Japanese as the voice of Hermes (the motorcycle) seems to be perceived as highly annoying in Japanese. I don’t disagree-it was a grating voice-but I’m surprised to hear others say that as it’s a dub-hatin’ world out there.
Definitely a classic. I remember the “Fight Club” theory being discussed for the show all those years ago, that Hermes didn’t really speak and that Kino just imagined it.
This was a show that had a quasi-loli main character and was excellent. I wish shows nowadays could do that regularly.
I’m glad that “Wednesday Wabi-Sabi” no longer seems to be the death knell for its feature.
