Production I.G’s vampire TV series to premiere on July 7
I’ve enjoyed the previous entries in the Blood franchise, so I’ll probably check this new series out, too.
Blood the Last Vampire was meh, but I loved Blood +(especially that second half), and Blood the live action movie was horrendous.
I think I will check this show out but only if it is simulcast, which it should be this is looking like the series of the season in popularity.

Streamed in N. America, others right after Japanese debut
I just signed up and as someone who has never used Nico Nico before, can I turn off the comments being covered on the video, I mean now that it is simulcast I am going to check it out. Also, can I pause the player and let the videos buffer?

I’ve not used it since it was popular to make a account for the Japanese site ,but should be able to turn the comments off. Not sure about the buffering. I have a decent connection back then so never was a issue.

I have no idea what to make of this show, we got nothing explained and all I really remember is it began like Blue Seed and ended with Saya killing a God Statue. I already know I hate the twins and I really hope we don’t push the duel life thing too far, it may drive me insane before Saya.
Have I told you all I love Saya’s character design for this show though.
Now I got to remember what my account stuff was from the Japanese site.

Yes, you can turn the comments off. The toggle for comments is the button at the bottom right that looks like a speech balloon with “…” inside.
The videos do appear to buffer. I have yet to press play, but the bar at the bottom of the screen is growing.

Personally, I would keep the comments off, since they’d be annoying while watching the video.
As for the second thing, yes, you can. It’s about average speed on the buffering, so it could take a while, but when I watched Blood-C, I let it buffer for like 5 minutes and I didn’t have a problem throughout the episode, I was still buffering while watching it too.

Hmm, it actually wasn’t too bad.
A little slow and awkward, but all in all not bad.
[details=spoiler]Saya’s character design and actions are kind of like a walking cliche, but I actually kind of like it.
Those twins will annoy me though, particularly if they keep having them say the same stuff at the same time like they did several times during this episode.[/details]
The animation as a whole though is gorgeous.
First thing I noticed is the player stays in the browser and is not true full screen.
Other then that no real technical issues.
As for the show itself I’m not really liking the CLAMP designs for this one. They just don’t seem to mesh well for me. The first episode it’s to early to tell if the show is something I will keep watching or not. First episode was kind of boring and the fight was really not all that great again I think in part to the CLAMP design of Saya.
