The last time I head anything even close to last night was when the Bomb Cleaners detonated a Block Buster over in the old Pine Castle bombing range. This was louder and it was sustained, nearly 30 minutes.
Now you’ve got me wanting a 1/4 Pounder with Cheese. What New Year’s Resolution???

Delaware is now doing the no single use bag thing . Probably not a big deal if your not doing store pick up and can take your own bags . So now I have to find a plastic bin so stuff is not rolling all over the truck bed . Also now I have to find a new source of litter bags.

Reuseable bags are a potential Covid vector. They need to be washed after each use … which never happens.
They get nasty, much cleaner to use plastic bags and put them in the burnable trash.
We had a large collection of Reusables, but they’ve been relegated to garage storage … until they disintegrate.

Cleaned my email out today . Have 5 packages arriving late from USPS . Each package had 10 to 15 messages telling me they are arriving late . Local Post Master keeps closing cases with not actually solving the issue . Not sure why he’s involved in the first place since they are all stuck someplace else .

In the Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation thread I talked about it being the second isekai anime I have seen in which the MC was reborn in the new world, just this morning I remembered 2 more (As I type this, I remembered another show that might have done this, but the anime might have skipped the details to know for sure)
Though one of the 2 I just remembered, they were reborn, but didn’t have the memories of their past life until later on, they just woke up one morning was like “Oh! I died on Earth and was born in this life with extra powers that I asked not to have!”

Hopefully they hold out to they come out as it’s because they are charging shipping per item instead of combining like with other things . Records seem to be a issue with pre-orders .
Though the new EVA vinyl they have coming out is 7000 yen shipping by itself . Yet some box sets are under 2000 yen

Quickly back to this, I sent a package to someone back on December 3 via USPS, and they received it on December 10. However, the tracking number is still active and it says it’s still “in processing”.
Don’t really think the post office does a very good job with the tracking.

Got that feeling when I was on the phone .
That and the feeling they don’t care . She kept saying I’ve heard that station is having issues . When I asked why they don’t send someone there to find the issue she changed the subject . Yeah now I have to file a missing mail claim for the one that can’t be replaced .

You know I don’t hate streaming like I used to just dislike that it takes multiple subscriptions to see everything . Be nice if the companies would just share a service , charge more , and split the profits . It’s one of those can’t we all just get along for the greater good scenarios . Answer is going to probably always be no unless a anti-trust law breaking company is allowed . Which if history proves right is bad .

Something I’m curious about I bought a blu-ray player from the uk .
The power adapter reads
Input AC 110-240V, 50/ 60Hz
Output 12v 0.8 amp . With the player listing input as the 12v 0.8amp . Makes me wonder if I had a US plug that had that output if it’d work instead of me running through a step up step down transformer .
