Demand may not be fully met until 2023
So my mind reads that as . We want more money for our product so we said we slowed down production to make a shortage look like it happened ,but are really selling these chips off to guys paying more for them to crypto mine and using the pandemic as an excuse .
I think it may be a bit more complicated than that.
Supply chains all over are slower than normal. A tech channel I watch pointed out last year that even cement was low production (He knew people who install pools, so people couldn’t get simple pools installed)
Pools … the cap on our pool’s filter developed a crack a couple of weeks ago. Pretty little mist of water coming out of the top.
There are NO repair parts available, not for ANY amount of money. The cap should cost about $60, I found the last supplier had run out selling them at $400 each. This is all due to last winter’s freeze fest in Texas. Seems that literally thousands of pools froze over and their pump systems had to be repaired / replaced. There weren’t enough parts available and the Just-In-Time supply chain was toast.
So, no replacement caps available for our filter. Estimates are that new supplies are 6 Months to a Year out.
