Objectionable content: Significant
Plot Summary: A direct continuation of Shikabane Hime Aka, taking place six months after Tagami Keisei’s death at the hands of the Shichisei (Seven Stars), a group of elite Shikabane who act on more than just regrets. As per Keisei’s dying wish, Kagami Ouri formed a temporary contract with Makina to save her from degenerating into a Shikabane. Since then, Ouri’s been training to become a proper monk so that he can remain contracted to Makina and help her fight against the Shichisei—the ones who originally killed Makina, the entire Hoshimura family, and now Keisei. However, the traitorous monk Shishidou Akasha has sided with the Shichisei in an attempt to destroy all Shikabane Hime and the entire monk organization that uses them—Kougon Sect.

Without any fanfare, Funimation has uploaded 4 episodes dubbed in English.

I may have to check them out sometime on YouTube.

What is up with the squiggly lines in the advertisement?

Anyhow, yeah it is quite the action piece. Other girls have super powers, but her dual gun action to combat spirits should let you know how serious to take it.

There is some interesting 3 dimensional characters however.

So, I watched ep. 01 of this yeasterday.

Not really sure what to think of it (at least as of yet), it definitely doesn’t grab me as a “buy now” kind of thing.

I’ll watch the other three eps. after I finish my TAN update, and see if it gets any better.

I noticed this on my Comcast on demand, looks interesting they have the first three episodes up.

Have to agree with you after watching the first episode it does not strike me as a “buy now” show either. It’s ok ,but really can’t see spending around $70.00 for the show. A funimation sale maybe ,but for now I’m passing and going to focus on Sentai releases.
