I just caught up with episodes 3 and 4 and I’m definitely enjoying this show. There’s just something very charming about it. The humor hits all the right notes as well.
I do have to say that someone needs to smack that Alice chick. What a brat…lol
In the one in a million chance that this show would ever get dubbed, Monica Rial would be perfect as Alice. She could totally nail that role.

Then let’s hope them streaming number are through the roof and/or either the UK/AU license it as well, and help with dub funds.
I like the reactions to the bits of culture shock and the fact that Claude and Yune are learning about their respective countries and customs from one another. And Oscar makes a nice bridge sometimes, with explanations for both Claude and Yune.

And yes! Alice is a spoiled brat that needs some slapping!
Now that all 3 simulcast are through their catch-up stage, time to post my impressions.
Eps. 1-4
This actually is a really cute series.
And much like Cody said, it has that similar slow-paced slice-of-life feel that we all know and love from Aria.
Which actually brings to mind, since they’re so similar, I’m kinda of surprised that Sentai picked this up and not Nozomi.
It seems to fit right in with most, if not all of Nozomi’s other licenses.
I have doubts it will considering it was exclusive to http://www.showtime.jp/ in Japan. It looks like it’s going to be on the Blu-ray and DVD’s in Japan. Hopefully it’s included as part of the deal for home media here to. Hard to say for certain. I’ll ask the Admin if anyone knows anything they can say.
Thanks. I certainly hope it is included in the BD/DVD release.
I know that Sentai has to eliminate many extras (which are available on the Japanese releases) in order to keep the cost down. I can understand not including interviews, commentary, booklets, art boxes, and other such things, but anything that is important to the show’s story (side episodes and OVAs) I consider essential. I would gladly pay extra if it would ensure their inclusion.
I really need to get caught up on this one. I never seem to stay with streams past the first 5 or 6 episodes. I hope there will be an additional season of it. I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve seen.
