‘Erased’ is ORIGINAL plot; fantastic & SMART. The art is ‘clean’ & digital elements are ‘seamless’. Since the story happens mostly in the winter, the landscape shots are gorgeous, & (I) feel COLD after watching.
After watching an episode, I always FEEL like I’ve spent an hour (in a GOOD, WAY!). I see some people who’ve posted are frustrated with Satoru’s thinking… but I enjoy the resolving of his younger vs. his older self; re: when he’s back in his childhood, he’s now gone out of way to show appreciation to his mother.)
I’m getting ready to watch episode 11 Thurs. While I’m excited to see another episode, I’m bummed it’ll be over.
Oh PLEASE be a ‘satisfying’ ending! I hope this show feels like another LONG episode… so many things to resolve.
This show is so great, original, different… I loved it.
Very Matrix-ish. The mom didn’t do too shabbily, he’s less than a 1/2" below average.
Since they pulled a Rip Van Winkle, what happens to Airi?
Did the show explain what happened to Satoru’s father?

OK while I wished it had one more episode, so it could have hewn closer to what happened in the manga for the altered present stuff, what we got was pretty good and the conclusion was about the same. So I’m OK with it.
I was pretty satisfied with the finale too. That roof scene sure gave me a scare.
Well, that was still fun. It’s always underwhelming when the explanation for the villain is just plain old craziness though.
BTW, how did they arrest him? I thought he’d explained his invulnerability?
Maybe the acclaim of this show will inspire future shows to be made that use Erased unique “hooks”, like adult characters.
