I’ll never stop drawing! In fact I have a picture that I would like to post. As soon as I get my computer back in working order that will be the first thing I do. Its kind of creepy. I bit different from the things I’ve been drawing. Actually a lot different. Same type of style though. I hope you guys like it!
Great job again Forest! That is one cute couple!
I’m looking forward to your next piece - as always!
Do not ask me why, for I do not know; but I love it.
Thank you very much for sharing. :3
Wow, you’ve really been improving, especially with your shadows. It’s probably the hardest to create good shadows with colored pencil so I’m pretty impressed. Keep up the good work
So I decided to do something a bit different this time. I drew a picture and throughout the process I stopped and took a picture of it every so often so I could show you guys the steps. I thought you might find it interesting. The first few pictures are kind of hard to see due to the fact that I draw very lightly at first.

Eyes are very Important!
I ended up changing the pattern a bit on the shirt because I realized that the right side didn’t match the left side. :pinch:
I think this one looks like a super heroine.
Maybe it is because of the popped collar?
I was going for more of an evil princess type look.
If anyone has any suggestions for what I should draw I would love to hear them. I have been engaging in a lot of summer boredom lately and I am somewhat lacking in inspiration.
This is where I might be able to help you. You see I have been wondering how people would see these characters, and am no good at drawing, so I would very much love if any of these would be produced. No pressure, though. ^_^;
I am not sure if you like specific direction (or rather, lengthy direction
) or fill-in-the-blank work, so I tried to mix a little.
I have labeled them for any possible convenience.
G
He has moderately long light-brownish and straight hair, and is often seen wearing a purple robe with a dark-green vest and anti-curse charms attached to his robe on either side of his waist. The robe does not go down too far and only reaches his knees, so he has pants under them with a slightly darker shade of green than his vest. He is not too tall, but skinny and he has brown-green-grey eyes.
L
He has a tall and wide build that accompanies his large muscles. He wears a dark-green t-shirt (that is skin-tight due to his large muscles) with a black apron on over it, as well as a dirty white pair of pants. He has short black hair and brown eyes.
R
She has long and wavy, light honey and slightly pink-colored hair that she keeps let down. She wears a witch’s hat, traditionally black. She also wears a white, long-sleeved frilled shirt under a sleeveless dark indigo vest that has two small, white, long wooden buttons. She also has a dark indigo dress skirt with a white cloth stitching on the inside and two thick lengths of white, straight cloth stitched into a triangle at the bottom most part, reaching almost all of the way to the end of her skirt. For her sleeves she uses dark indigo arm covers that go from her wrists to her upper arm, but does not touch her shirt. Additionally, she has one part of hair on her right head braided with a lightning bolt looking accessory attached.
A
She has long black hair with red streaks of hair running from some sides of her head, and also has red eyes. She wears a grey long-sleeved shirt with white button-able cuffs under an opened, button-up short-sleeved dark grey shirt, with a loosely tied red neckerchief. Her pants are reddish-grey and loose, being held up by a thin and tight red belt. She also has dark-red strap-bound shoes and a small chain with a golden ring attached to her belt.
Y
She wears a white dress with dark pink finishing, and wears a dark pink beret with a gold rim on it. Her dress has white frills under it, and she wears black stockings.
J
He is tall and equally built for it. Has green hair, teal eyes, and wears a light and dark-blue robe with white stone-like attachments to his front and back shoulders.
Anything not described is free game. I always felt that I gave a little too much description to them.
I hope you consider drawing some of them! I always have more!
I would love to draw some of those! Are they your own characters? I hope I don’t mess them up too badly… But I’ll absolutely give it a try. Thank you!
Yes they are.
And do not worry about ‘messing up’ since none of them have been pictured in any great way in the first place (I am too lazy to form the full picture in my head, maybe
).
I look forward to your sketches.
That was quite fast.
I love it!
She looks much more different than most of my imaginings, which makes it so interesting. :3
Thank you!
Haha I told you I was bored. I’m glad you like it. I drew it at like 2 in the morning and then colored it this afternoon while I was watching fantasia. B)
Love the latest and greatest Forest! I really love the crazy eyes on that first one. I also enjoyed your thought process as you draw. It always amazes me how a few simple lines can turn into a face. Nice job!
I like your witch too. You and Tager make a good team!
I have another for you Tager! Probably not at all like you imagined but this is what it came out as. I think shes cute.

I did not even recognize her at first.
Turns out I missed copying the line right before that one, but no big deal. She looks great the way she is.
I think she looks cute as well. :3
Thank you for the sketch!
I would really like to see you explore outside of your comfort zone and draw the landscapes that you dread. Or another interesting idea would be to draw your greatest fear. I personally would do the greatest fear drawing, it’s almost as if you’re facing your fear through a passion of yours (art).
Well it just so happens that I’m afraid of storms so I guess I could draw a stormy landscape for you. I’ll try my best.
Aww, I was sorta hoping it’d be a more horrific fear, but I guess storms would be ok. If you drew something like a class 5 tornado wreaking havoc on a heavily populated area. Or a supercell storm destroying an entire city. When it comes to fear drawing, it seems more of a fear drawing if it’s completely irrational. Because as we all know, our fears are always irrational and blown way out of proportion in our minds.
