Ep. 9
This show goes above and beyond the call of Otaku duty this episode. The soldiers code names and their name for Itami’s group is hilarious.
Episode 8 –
Spoiler
Culture shock! The girls are fascinated by Itami’s alien city. Kuribayashi gets another shock as well. Itami is also Special Forces!
The guests get a bus tour of the busy city and a shopping trip before heading to the Diet. But they stop to eat first and that is another strange but good experience for them. Pina is impressed by the Diet building when she sees it. Tuka, Lelei, and Rory get off the bus with Itami, but Pina and Bozes are taken elsewhere to meet some officials for a discussion.
The Diet meeting is televised as Itami the girls are intensely questioned by Diet Member Kouhara. Itami and the SDF are pretty much attacked over the dragon incident when many villagers lost their lives. When Rory is questioned, she is the one to set the Diet straight! She also surprises everyone by speaking perfect Japanese. Her defense of the SDF is superb, calling Kouhara “little girl” and berating the rest of the Diet. She is about to unleash her weapon when Itami stops her. And Kouhara actually thought she could use Rory against the SDF. HA!
Kouhara is offended that Rory calls her “little girl” and says that in this country, one respects their elders. Before Rory gets out of hand, Itami takes over and explains that Rory is the oldest person there. Kouhara is unbelieving until Rory announces that she is 961 years old! And how old is Tuka? 165! Lelei is the youngest at 15. Kouhara seems relieved at that. LOL
Lelei steps up to the podium again and explains that she is human and humans live between 60 and 70 years. She further explains that most of the people of her world are human. Tuka is an elf. They don’t age and live long lives. Rory used to be a human, but when she became a demigod, her body stopped aging. When she reaches a thousand or thereabouts, she will cease to exist, becoming a spirit and then a god. Kouhara is silenced! The meeting is concluded.
Pina finds out that not all of the invading soldiers are dead. Currently, 6,000 are being held as prisoners and the government would like to release them back to Pina. She asks about ransom and is surprised to find out that prisoners are not ransomed in this country. She is given a list of names and is told that some can be released immediately. However, Pina feels that they still want something in return for their release. Pina says that she needs to examine the list, so she can buy some time. I think both meetings came out pretty successful.
The girls are a sudden sensation and become media superstars. But something is up. A car cuts off the escort car from the bus. The girls and their escorts meet up on a train – another amazing experience for the girls. The bus was actually a decoy and perhaps that was a good thing. Pina and Bozes think they are being taken to the bottom of the Earth and Rory thinks that “Hardy” is coming for her - Hardy being someone that once wanted Rory as her bride.
She panics enough that Itami decides to get off the train before they should, which is also a good thing, since the subway is suddenly shut down. Another orchestration by an unknown enemy. However, Komakado warns that the next attempt will be more direct and sure enough, a man runs past Rory and steals her weapon. But the weapon is too heavy and the thief is stopped in his tracks. Poor Komakado hurts his back when he tries to pick up the dropped weapon and Rory can’t understand why. She thinks her weapon is as light as a feather!
Komakado tells Itami to get to the Ichigaya Assembly Hall before he’s taken to the hospital. But Itami has another idea. Another good thing since there is a sudden fire at the hall that is thought to be arson. Itami brings the group to an apartment and they get to meet his ex-wife. Another shock! Itami sure is full of surprises. LOL And the ex-wife seems just as surprised to see everyone else. Can’t wait to see what happens next!
Episode 9 –
Spoiler
Rory sees a doll that resembles Hardy and is very afraid. The apartment is small and Lelei is amazed at the number of books she sees. They seem to be everywhere. Itami explains the situation to his ex-wife, Risa, and she wants to know why he would endanger her as well. Meanwhile, Pina and Bozes are fascinated by a BL manga.
The next morning, Itami announces that they are going to have fun. Even if their enemy does know where they are. Risa suggests a shopping trip while holding up her alimony money. Funny because she can’t even pay her bills! Bozes and Pina would like to go to the library instead, so the group splits up. They will meet up later and continue on to a hot springs. Rory just seems bored. She has no interest in shopping since she is already wearing her formal attire as a priestess. Until she sees a really cute dress, that is. LOL
Rory, Tuka, and Lelei love shopping for clothes and Pina and Bozes are overwhelmed by the size of the library. They tell Akira that they want to research “art” while holding up a BL manga. And Itami ends up in his own heaven, as he shops in a bookstore. But it seems planned as he meets up with the Defense Minister. Itami and Kanou take a walk and talk. After they catch up, Kanou formally orders Itami to return to the original plan and take the “guests” to an inn guarded by the SFG. Itami accepts the order, but wasn’t he heading to that inn anyway?
The girls really shopped! They are loaded down with all kinds of packages when they meet Itami at the train station. Akira tells Itami that Pina and Bozes wanted to research art, but it wasn’t the kind of art he had in mind. LOL Kanou has returned to the Underground Ministry of Defense to oversee the security of the inn. It seems that it’s already under attack. Why would Kanou send Itami there anyway? Gee, the code names sound very familiar as well. LOL
Itami’s group arrives at Sankai Roukaku and Itami notices the heavy security right away. I wonder if the names for the Special Forces Group were chosen with Itami in mind - Lancer, Archer, and Saber. The girls are further amazed at the sight of a lake of hot water and Pina is reminded once again that this is a different world. And here come the bad guys! They are expected as it’s announced “Attention all Servants. The grail has been filled.”
It was hysterical when Akira thought Itami was hitting on him in the bath, but at least the girls are bonding. Bozes is teased about Akira liking her and the group gets the details of Risa’s divorce. It seems she still has feelings for Itami. Later, Itami’s tantrum was amusing, just before a drunken Rory and Kuribayashi break into the room and kidnap the men. Meanwhile, the three attack groups retreat. Are they the same group or are they working for three different enemies? It turns out that some of the enemy fighters are foreign. It’s conspiracy and blackmail time! Dirty politics again. The Prime Minster orders a shocked Kanou to dismiss the SFG guarding the inn. The Prime Minister plans to resign before any kind of scandal breaks, but in the meantime, the “guests” will have to fend for themselves.
Itami wakes up after an intense drinking party to find everyone else passed out. Well, almost everyone. Rory is still drinking and beckons Itami over to her. Itami makes an inane remark and suddenly sees that Rory is aroused. She says that there is fighting nearby and it’s keeping her awake. She demands to know what Itami will do for her as she uncrosses and re-crosses her legs. Itami looks very nervous. LOL Rory wants to join the fighting or she wants Itami to give her relief. I wonder which one Itami will choose.
“The grail has been shattered” and the SFG falls back as their mission is canceled, paving the way for the enemy to retrieve the guests. Somehow, Rory has gotten on top of Itami and he’s squirming around, talking about child protection laws. I think he forgot Rory’s true age. But then he’d probably be saying something about senior citizens! Just as Rory is about to prove that she isn’t a child and Itami is about to give in, the episode ends! No fair! But I suspect that the are about to be interrupted by the enemy anyway.

Episode 10 –
Spoiler
So, just as Itami is about to give in to Rory, the phone rings and they are interrupted. LOL I knew it! Meanwhile, the enemy continues to approach the inn. It’s easy with no one to stop them. Or so they think! Suddenly, all the enemies are facing each other, but before they can react, Rory joins them and she’s ready for some action! Licking her lips and laughing with pleasure, she is ready to take them all on!
Rory is in her element. The enemies are shooting at her as well as each other, but no one can lay a finger on Rory! As she fights, Rory once again become a graceful dancer, laughing as she twirls kills, and the enemies have no idea what hit them. One enemy reports the mission’s failure, but how to describe Rory? He never really gets the chance before he joins his dead comrades.
Inside the inn, the bullets are flying and Itami orders everyone to stay down. He has no idea what is going on outside. The battle finally ends with all of the many enemies either dead or dying. Rory, standing on a high rock, seems well satisfied in a “better than sex” kind of way. Amazed, Itami surveys the scene and realizes that Public Safety will be there very soon. He orders his people to grab whatever weapons they can and to gather their things together. They need to leave before Public Safety arrives.
Itami approaches Rory and watches as she regenerates and her wounds eject their spent bullets, before healing completely. She reminds him that Demigods can’t die. All too soon, the group is on the run again. Fortunately, they find a van parked on the road with only one enemy, but what are they going to do about him? It’s Lelei’s turn to shine now. Literally! She glows as she casts a sleeping spell on the man and they leave him behind as they take the van.
But where to go? It seems nowhere is safe and enemies are all around wherever they go. Ginza is certainly out although it would be safer for all of them back in the other world. Itami is forced into telling them what exactly is going on, but surprises everyone by not having any answers either. It seems that Pina pretty much deduces the truth all on her own, in an “elementary, my dear Watson” style. Smart girl! But the knowing still doesn’t help them find a solution.
They stop for a rest and it seems that Rory isn’t speaking to Itami. LOL I guess she’s still mad that they were interrupted back at the inn. Risa plans a fake schedule and puts it on the net. People want to see the visitors, so it looks like a crowd may show up in Ginza looking for them. Will they be able to use the crowd as a cover to slip back to the Special Region?
In the morning, it’s announced that the Prime Minister was hospitalized and had also declared his resignation. At least he kept his promise. It just so happens that there is a street reporter, who just happens to be Kuribayashi’s sister, Nanami, trying to get a reaction from people on the street regarding the Prime Minister’s shocking news. I have a feeling that she’s about to bump into her sister!
Nanami isn’t a very good reporter, but there is a sudden crowd gathering and she may get some kind of story after all. The enemies are there too, from all three countries, and each has a plan to grab the visitors before they enter the gate. Graham’s plan is a good one, but the crowd is getting a lot bigger than he anticipated.
That very same crowd is causing a traffic jam and so the van is stuck. Itami says they will have to walk, but that may be too dangerous. Rory makes the decision for them as she steps out of the van and walks up to a man on the street to ask where Ginza is. Itami thinks it’s a bad move since anyone could be in that crowd. As he worries, Rory creates a sensation as she receives flowers and the crowd parts for her.
Leaving the van with Risa, Itami tells her to abandon it somewhere, but it’s obvious she doesn’t want to part from Itami just yet. She asks him if he will come back and he tells her that it won’t be for a while. He tells her to take care and joins his comrades. A sort of impromptu parade starts and crowds line both sides of the street as the visitors make their way to the memorial before returning home. Nanami is reporting from the street and sees her sister pass by in the group with the visitors.
Kuribayashi takes over the camera and after saying hi to her mom, she lets it leak that there are people after them. Graham is not happy. Komakado approaches him and gloats as he tells him that he may make a mistake between the CIA and agents from other countries. Graham looks nervous and Komakado just laughs as he walks away. It seems that Graham’s team has been arrested, perhaps accidentally on purpose. The US President is not pleased when he gets the news. Thank you Komakado! Itami really owes you one now! Seeing this, the Chinese and Russians withdraw as well.
The girls pay their respects at the memorial and Rory demands that a bell be rung to lay the dead to rest. Itami is trying to figure out how to do that when a nearby clock tower strikes the hour. Rory is pleased. The crowds cheer as the metal gate is raised and the girls are surprised to be receiving such adulation. Even Itami and his team are speechless.
By the time the escort arrives to take everyone back to the Special Region, the exhausted group is practically sleeping on the sidewalk. Later, the girls admit that the trip was fun and interesting and that they would love to go back. Rory tries on one of her purchases, and Lelei amazes the old wizard with her new laptop, while Tuka runs off to greet her non-existent father. Pina writes up a report about her trip and warns that if the Empire continues the war, they will either lose or be completely destroyed. She is ready to return home and prepare for peace talks. Somehow, I don’t think her father is going to accept that. The last thing he wants is peace of any kind. However, Pina is determined to end the war.

Looks like they’re not even trying for Friday any more.

Simulcast on Saturdays 3:00am PDT
-edit-
Looking at the schedule, I guess Ep. 11 was posted at 3:00am Saturday, so I guess that goes off when the last episode was posted.
I kinda remember one of the CR staff mentioning something to that effect a year or two ago now, I guess I forgot about it.
They mislabled it as Ep. 11
So it might be reuploaded (though you can change the title of your YT vids if you choose) if they don’t bother just renaming it.
-edit-
They renamed it, so it’s all good.
