Guy's Opinions On Stuff

Don’t stereotype. I love my cats.

The way cats are so independent does not appeal too a variety of people. I, on the other hand, love how a cat is so independent. When my cats actually seek me out for attention (other than feed me or clean the litter box), it shows they truly consider me as a pride member whom they like and love. It really isn’t a master and owner relationship. Those who like the master/owner relationship would not like being snubbed by a cat and their other attitude traits.

Add me to the list of cat friends.

Dogs are too stupid to be truly great pets.

I’d say this is mostly only true of American men and even that is a debatable and case specific stereotype. The cat is the most popular pet in the world for a reason and even in the US cats are kept as pets in the order of millions ahead of dogs (second to fish).

Even in this male dominated forum, most of the regulars seem to be cat aficionados as well.

I love to pet kitties!

I have tons of kitties!

All the guys I know have cats for pets. I don’t know where this rumor got started that men don’t like cats!

There is a joke to be made here but I think I will take the high road and say.

I also am a cat lover. Don’t mind dogs but not to fond of them. As for birds I am not a fan.

I almost took the low-road myself on the same issue. Go ahead… you know you want to say it PP. :stuck_out_tongue:

Gayest dream=Me being pregnant. It was a really weird dream. I was thinking “They’re going to take my baby”. Ya, that was messed up.
As for all you dog haters, you all suck. I have one dog(Nikki a.k.a. my baby) who is the greatest pet in the world. I also have 3 cats. They are all great(Psycho/Snarf/Loki), but can’t compare to the warmth and love you get from my dog. Loki is my newest cat. He’s white with a wery slight orange highlight on his head and tail. Also, he’s cross-eyed.

I believe I watched that movie where Arnold Swatzernager was pregnant, so thats probably what brought it on. It really was a crazy dream.

I dont hate cats. Not a cat lover, but I don’t hate them. But they love me. No joke cats on the street will run up to me and rub their head on my legs. They come to me for attention or something. And whenever I’m at someone’s house who has cat(s) they will always come to me and rub their head on me, and want me to pet them. They must like something about me. I am a dog fan though since I have one. Big on Fish and Birds too, used to have a bird and lots of fish.

Cats have a sixth sense about people who are not cat lovers. My one sister HATES cats, but when she comes to my house, my cats both run up to her and rub against her legs. This is remarkable only because normally my cats hide from all new people coming to my house.

Kitties are awesome, except for when the little bastards hook onto your wrist and you have to smack them against something to get them off! I just love how the get that one claw stuck in the side of your finger and it wont come out…

Tthanks for the honesty people (especially slick). I also think dragoon should be applauded for participating. And what no “kitty” jokes? Although, Rai kind of made one. Lots of love for the feline ones. What a surprise…

Shame on you for not knowing this. Humans when fearful or disgusted close their eyes partially which to a cat is a sign of friendship. Which is why people who like cats but don’t understand them have trouble getting them to approach, they have their eyes fully open which a cat interprets as threatening.

Yeah but I don’t hate cats or anything. I think they are cool, and I like that they come up to me randomly. Just I don’t think I’d want a cat or anything.

Gayest dream? Can’t recall any dream where I was hitting on a guy, but I do remember one where I got my nipple pierced. It had a chain with a cross that hung down a few inches, and it came through my shirt. The whole time during that dream, I was thinking to myself, “When the hell did I get that pierced? Why? How the hell is it coming through the shirt like that?”

Was there any soreness upon waking? :woohoo:
