I try to stay away from “closed captioning” style subtitling. They annoy me so much. If not for the grayness of the “white” font face (due, I believe to the incredibly thing font Roku uses) having white fonts with black surround edging would be eminently readable. I sent an email to Roku but haven’t heard a thing back from them. I’m going to have to explore alternative methods for submitting suggestions.
