I don’t think the TAN forums’ are setup like a yearly payment option. I think they do a monthly system survey of how the TAN forums preforms in today’s current state that the TAN forums are in. Now I do think that back in the day, when TAN was popular, they might have been a yearly bundle, to save money on the immense online traffic they were getting for all the TAN members and online guest/lurkers.
Here’s an overall summary of how the TAN forums performed. The amount of all time sign ups is insane.
