Dear Amazon, Screw you as a Prime member, I should not have to pay extra for this…
I will be looking forward to the next time Amazon asks for feedback on my Prime subscription.

A user over at ANN emailed Amazon and they replied.
I understand your concern regarding the pricing of the season pass. The main reason behind this is due to contractual restrictions and based on content provider discretion. From the perspective of a service provider, it is certainly not something that we would want for our loyal paying customers.
However, I’m sure you will understand that it is not Amazon who has taken this decision but something that we receive from content provider/producer’s end.
Having said this, strong feedback from customers like you be certainly valuable for us.
Got a response from Amazon Customer Service on my email regarding the Anime Strike rollout SNAFU. The key part:
I thank you for bringing this to our attention. However, I can understand that you are interested to watch the animated series with Prime, so I am taking your email as feedback and forwarded to the Amazon Instant Video business team, so that they can take it into consideration and take needful steps for the same.
Hopefully my email and the others from Anime Fans / Prime Customers will get to their video team and give them what they need to push back on the content providers.

Sorry, again Amazon, Screw You. You can use the licensing issues etc. as your excuse for holding back titles etc. When TAN, CR, and Funi all air them almost simultaneously? It makes me wonder about what Aniplex will do about Saekano 2? Aniplex’s strategy works because they make their titles available on all the streaming services, This might be the first title that’s restricted in availability (unless they pull it from the noitaminA block.)
