Warner announced today that JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Season 1 will be delayed until September. The anime was originally scheduled to be released on July 28, 2015.

Wow, Bang/Zoom actually had the guts to do accents with this one. Their Italian accent is spotty but at least they went for it, unlike a certain Funi broadcast dub…
This is totally DBZ-tastic, though far hokier and with a far smaller animation budget. It’s also weird seeing how this first “JoJo” is very Goku-ish (wimpy, naive and noble) after his Stardust Crusaders descendant was totally a Piccolo-type anti-hero.
IMO the show’s only flaw, besides not being Stardust Crusaders, is that it is really rushing through the setup. They had 26 episodes, maybe they should have slowed their roll a bit?
