Plot Summary: Hidden within Kyoto is the “mirror capital” where youkai and humans live together and no one ever dies. It is protected by three people - Kurama, Yase, and Myoue - as they await the return of their parents, Myoue Jonin and Koto. One day a young girl named Koto (same name, different spelling) and her little brothers A and Un wander into the city from a different dimension looking for her mother. A mecha-geek with red eyes, it’s not immediately clear whether she’s human or youkai. Her arrival upsets the long peace that had ruled the city.[/quote]

TV version of action fantasy anime premieres on site today

Well I finally tried this, the anime that time forgot and whose name seems to defy a standard spelling, and it was interesting and weird. Drawings are reality, reality is a drawing, for a rabbit so loved a man that it commandeered the body f a woman in a painting and made her “real”…

The sudden appearance of a spunky, giant-hammer-carrying “little sister” (who is brash & none too bright) and her 2 idiotic familiars at the end of ep 1 makes me wary of ep 2, especially as ep 2 is titled “what came was a little sister”. After oreimo I’m still leery of any and all modern “imouto” anime…
