Plot Summary: (TAN) When tragedy struck Riki as a child, four other kids recruited him for their group - the “Little Busters.” Now in high school, their vision of being heroes for justice may have faded, but they’d still do anything for each other. Which is why Riki is on TWO special missions: 1) Recruit new (preferably female) members to form a baseball team, and 2) Figure out why he and Rin are receiving odd messages and tasks concerning the existence of a secret world. Riki may need the strength of a superhero to talk to girls and solve the ultimate mystery of the Little Busters!

I saw the Clannad movie, hate the series as a result. Wait, Angel Beats was made by Key? Considering why I don’t like Clannad, I wouldn’t have thought of that.

I think for me, the more happy a character, the more I’ll hate the story for having something bad happen to them.

Technically, Angel Beats! didn’t start as a visual novel by Key like the others did, the concept was created by Jun Maeda and turned it into a mixed media collaboration with Key in general.
The anime was also written and song composed by Jun Maeda and character designed by Na-Ga, who both work for Key, so I’ve always just attributed it as a Key work.

I don’t mind so much, it just took me by surprise because so far it had been upbeat and genuinely funny.

Mood whiplash much?

This whiplash wouldn’t happen, or be so bad, if Sentai licensed this series early enough on to have TAN do one episode a week however…

But they’re doing two episodes a week right now.

Part of it is they’re giving you the highlights of each girls’ game route, if you played it as a game you wouldn’t get all this roller coaster over and over unless you sat and played every possible route in a short time.

Little Busters! anime’s site to be updated on Sunday

The 26th episode of the Little Busters! television anime series ended on the Tokyo MX TV station on Saturday with a Little Busters! Refrain teaser video. “Refrain” is the name of the last scenario that is unlocked when players complete the six heroines’ scenarios in Key’s original Little Busters! visual novel.

The teaser gave no furthers details about when and how Little Busters! Refrain will debut, and the official Twitter account for the anime asked fans to wait a little longer for more information. In particular, the website for the anime will be updated on Sunday. In addition, the anime will repeat on Tokyo MX starting on Thursday, April 11.

Key, an adult game brand of Visual Art’s, released the original romance adventure game for personal computers in 2007, and it has since been ported to the PlayStation 2, PSP, and PS Vita platforms.
