Hachiman is still working hard at the school festival, as is Yukino. But it’s time for the closing ceremony now. While Haruno directs her band, Hachiman pays Yukino a compliment, but I don’t think she heard it. Yukino is alerted to the fact that Sagami is missing – and she is needed for the closing! While they gain a little time by stalling things, Yukino even enlists her sister’s help and Hachiman liked the way Yukino handled Haruno. Hachiman is sent to find Sagami.

With amazing deductive powers – and a little help from Zaimokuza – Sherlock Holmes Hachiman quickly finds Sagami on the roof, but now he has to talk her into coming back. I can’t believe that with all she’s done – or not done rather – Sagami still resents Yukino! Even after using her like she did! In any case, Sagami has no intention of going to the closing ceremony. Hachiman knows exactly what she needs, but isn’t sure how to accomplish it.

Hayama and Sagami’s friends soon show up on the roof as well, looking for them. They try to talk Sagami into going back, but she’s still reluctant. Hachiman decides to play the bad guy and lets Sagami have it, telling her that she just wants to be the center of attention. He compares her to Yukino and how Sagami used her. Hachiman gets Sagami good and angry, which is what he wanted, but it’s Hayama that attacks him. Sagami’s friends stop Hayama and Hachiman’s goal is accomplished as Sagami’s friends escort her back inside, insulting Hachiman all the way. And Hayama knew exactly what Hachiman was doing.

Hachiman returns to the auditorium to find both of his girls singing together on stage. And they are good! Good enough to draw quite a crowd. Hachiman enjoyed that very much, I think. It certainly was a different side of Yukino. And they stalled the closing just long enough too. Sagami arrives in time to close the festival. Afterwards, she’s still crying over the things Hachiman said to her and her friends are still comforting her. But everything Hachiman said was true and I guess the truth hurts.

Haruno compliments Hachiman before she leaves and Hiratsuka tells him that although he did well, she really can’t praise him for it. She tells him that ā€œhelping someone is not a reason to get hurt yourselfā€. She also tells him that others hurt when they see him in pain. Hachiman returns to the Service Club to find Yukino alone and she welcomes him as the ā€œmost hated person in the schoolā€. But did she have to look happy about it? LOL Hachiman promises Yukino that he loves the way he is.

In finding a quiet place to work, Yukino says that they are alike, but Hachiman is positive that they aren’t. However, after thinking about it, he tries to bring up the question of being friends again and Yukino cuts him off, telling him that it will never happen. They banter a bit and something may be coming out of it, but Yui pops in and interrupts them.

Yui wants to invite them to the ā€œnight-after partyā€. Hachiman refuses to go, saying he will only ruin the party. He didn’t even want to go to the regular after party, which is why he ended up in the club room in the first place. Yukino has no intention of going either. But Yui just ignores their answers and waits for them to finish their work. She’s good like that!

Sports Festival time! And Hachiman is his usual self. In fact, the Service Club itself is totally unenthusiastic. Perhaps the hard work of the School Festival was just too much for them. LOL

It all started when Shiromeguri wanted to make the Sports Festival as exciting as the School Festival and so requested the Service Club’s help. Yui didn’t like the attention that she paid to Hachiman either. LOL This girl has too much school spirit! And it turns out that they are all on the same Red Team. She wants ideas for the featured events and doesn’t even give them time to think before she drags them off to a committee meeting.

However, every idea they come up with is shot down by Hiratsuka. No wonder the Sports Festival is so dull every year. When they finally run out of ideas, Hachiman says that they need to find the right person for the job. Hachiman has Yui put in a call to Zaimokuza and Ebina of all people. They show up and promise to come up with some good ideas. But I don’t think I want to know what Ebina’s are! LOL The Service Club ends up with the manual labor again and Hachiman gets tired of that pretty quickly.

The day of the festival arrives and Shiromeguri thinks it’s going to be a lot of fun. But it’s also time for the second part of Shiromeguri’s request. She wants to win! However, with the athletic Hayama on the White Team, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen. But the ā€œChibattleā€ is next, so maybe the Red Team has a chance, since the winners can get a lot of points. The costumes were pretty funny, if slightly familiar. Where’s Saber when you need her? LOL Amazingly, the Red Team wins!

But now Hachiman and the boys’ team have to win their event as well, to put them in the lead and give them the overall win. Ebina came up with this event and I know I’m going to be laughing. The name says it all – ā€œCollapse the Poleā€. Ebina is already excited, thinking about all those boys fighting over a ā€œpoleā€. Totsuka is in a cute costume now and Hachiman is in love again! LOL

Hachiman comes up with a winning strategy. Zaimokuza fires up the Red Team and the competition starts. Ebina does the commentary and I just have to laugh. She’s already drooling. Can a nosebleed be far behind? LOL Zaimokuza creates a distraction as Hachiman saunters over to the White Team’s pole. With a white bandage on his head, ā€œStealth Hikkiā€ walks right up to the white pole. However, Hayama stops him just in time. But that wasn’t the plan at all. Zaimokuza now charges the pole at Hachiman’s command! He gets through the team with no problem and knocks down the pole! Red Team wins! Zaimokuza yells his victory and the crowd cheers. Hachiman gets a big hug from Totsuka and must have enjoyed that very much! LOL Ebina has her nosebleed too.

The following day, the members of the Service Club discuss their loss. The Red Team was disqualified because of Hachiman’s little ploy with the bandage. What a shame and so much for ā€œStealth Hikkiā€. At least Shiromeguri was happy, so half of their task got accomplished. Yukino realizes that she doesn’t like losing either and Yui says that they will win next year. Yukino agrees, but Hachiman just has to mention that they may not be on the same team next time. Yukino says that he’d probably enjoy being the enemy more anyway.

Yui starts her usual chatter and talks about stopping somewhere on the way home. Hachiman thinks about high school and comes up with something very profound. This was another very satisfying show. There were a few things left unsaid, but I still enjoyed it. Perhaps it’s open enough for another season, but it not, it ended well. And I just adore Hachiman!!!
