FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SENTAI FILMWORKS LICENSES “QWASER OF STIGMATA”

HOUSTON, July 1, 2012 — Sentai Filmworks is proud to announce thier latest acquisition: Qwaser of Stigmata. Directed by Hiraku Kaneko (Aquarian Age, Godannar) and featuring character designs by Makoto Uno (Gravion, Love Hina) and music by Tatsuya Katou (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, MEDAKA BOX) this series consists of two seasons and one OVA for a total of 37 episodes.

When Mafuyu Oribe and her adopted sister Tomo rescue a strange wounded man, they have no idea what they’re getting involved with or what the consequences will be. Alexander Nikolaevith Hell is an Iron Qwaser, one of many opposing factions of super-warriors who can each draw upon the power of an element and wield it as an almost unstoppable array of weapons. And unfortunately for Mafuyu, Alexander’s faction is there to gather the mystical relics known collectively as the High Circuit, which puts her friends, family and school at ground zero in a battle for the fate of all mankind! But there’s an even more disturbing twist, as Qwasers require a special liquid diet to manifest their powers, one provided by the women who serve as a Qwaser’s partner. And THAT means that the nursing Mafuyu’s already given Alexander isn’t the only kind of nursing he needs! Get ready for one of the wildest, weirdest animes to EVER come out of Japan as the courage within a woman’s breast unleashes a whole new kind of mayhem in QWASER OF STIGMATA!

Qwaser of Stigmata will be available through digital outlets and on uncut, subtitled DVD later this year.

Well, I something quite useful for the male character…

When are episodes of this show going to start? Anybody got a guess.

If Ebiten is anything to go by, 3 episodes may pop up this week. Based on the schedule for online only shows, Tuesday would be free if AN wants one new show a day, or Wednesday if they want to even out the two a day schedule first.

Scratch that. I noticed how the Watch Anime Now tab works when you click on new releases, it’s listed after the two shows that will start on VoD the next two weeks, so it and the two other shows listed after it (Someday’s Dreamers II Sora and Legend of Heroes ~ Trails in the Sky) will start in December. We’ll know the exact dates when the December newsletter comes out.

I am watching episode 1 on Anime Network, Its even uncensored

Qwaser of Stigmata, Ep 1 (Sub), is live at ANO

… You know what, I’m not going to question this show. Too much brain work on my part.

I totally agree with you, I think they wanted to see how perverted a show could get and still have it not hentai.

This show is following the VoD schedule in terms of when new episodes are released (Fridays 1am EST)

Episode 2. The intro, what is up with Tomo? No really?

Well, sorta. The Online Player actually has its own schedule. The VOD shows come out on Thursday and the Online Player shows on Friday. (Unless they are scheduled differently - )

I meant for the shows that appear at the same time on VoD and Online, this show is following that schedule without the VoD part.

I’m hesitant to say “all” in this case, as I’m sure there’s been a few exceptions, but as a general rule of thumb, all non simulcasts/delaycasts utilize the VOD schedule as far as release time goes (12am CST), and it’s usually a day later.

Qwaser of Stigmata II, Ep 1 (Sub), is live at ANO

Someone is smoking at Anime Network’s ad division. :stuck_out_tongue:

It’s possible, as I doubt this will be on VOD any time soon.
It doesn’t even have a FREE first episode like the first season did.
