Lingerie company Leg Avenue to design, manufacture iconic outfit
The American clothing retail chain Hot Topic posted a behind-the-scenes video featuring costumes for its upcoming Halloween line. Among other new apparel, a glimpse of a Sailor Moon outfit appears at the one minute, 57 second mark of the video. Lingerie company Leg Avenue noted in its official website that it has acquired the license to manufacture a Sailor Moon costume for Hot Topic.

Was it ever confirmed which masters Toei is giving ?
If it’s the masters they gave before then really going to be disappointed as they were pretty bad. I remember ADV and Geneon getting flak for Toei giving them substandard masters. Hopefully it’s one of the remastered masters.
Why is Funimation giving out prizes for a Sailor Moon celebration, if it is the unrealistic explanation I am thinking, I hope they announce it at Nekocon.

Funimation has already confirmed they only provided a prize for the contest because Forbidden Planet had asked them to and the two companies have worked together in the past.
I think people seem to forget Funimation is still the biggest company and that also puts them in the place of being the one company able to give a lot of stuff away. Making them the best partner for events.

Sailor Moon Blu-Ray?

Rightstuf claims to have information about a “developing situation” regarding the Sailor Moon blu-ray release.
Not as good as Kleckner dressing up like a penguin and “singing” an altered version of LMFAO’s “I’m Sexy and I Know It”, from the other year.
Only if this had talked about offering original, genuine cels from Evangelion could this have been more obviously bogus. 
But, speaking of jokes, when is ANN’s new layout going to go away?
One can only hope. The new page is a hot mess.
You all do know they have various setups for the page to tweak it into something moderately less horrendous… (It still sucks though)
Yes, I do know that. The only way it is usable is if I set it to the “list” layout, which is just a poor knockoff of what the old layout was. The information is still all convoluted and page space is wasted with huge article “thumbnails”, mismatched font sizes and overzealous whitespacing.
The page also refuses to stretch to fit the screen. ANN even had the gall to defend their lazy web design choice there by stating that “research” (they don’t cite a source) says that people can only read 100 characters per line (an epic fail when their font sizing is all screwed up) and so that’s what their site is set to. They say that you can make the site stretch, but you really can’t: it only works when viewing the forum (articles, encyclopedia and “post a reply” are all tiny), it makes you specify a width in characters (ie: you can’t just check “stretch to screen”) and it only works if you’re logged in to an ANN account.
If they weren’t prepared to take the time to plan their layout to fit to the viewer’s screen-logical as screen sizes are so varied in this day and age-then they weren’t really ready to upgrade. The only way their site could suck more is if they’d hired CGI Federal to do it.
