Big huge month for Sept 2010. Hopefully these make it up to Rightstuf before the end of the sale.

Is it just me, or did they raise the price of most of their releases by $10, starting with Samurai Harem?
Not that I mind, I’m just curious if I’m the only one who noticed this.

Indeed they did.

The Dark Lord wants your wallets soul. All Sept releases listed at Rightstuf now.

September looks to be the best month of the year so far! Ghost Hound and X’amd on bluray are definite preorders! I never really expected Ghost Hound to get dubbed and was really surprised by that announcement. I’m downright shocked by the bluray announcement. I can’t wait!

I’m also surprised they snagged X’amd. Most people had assumed Sony would release that themselves. I guess now we just have the question of whether it will be dubbed or not.

So, I will be grabbing everything! My wallet will be hurting in a couple months. Good thing my car will be paid off by then!

I’m curious if Sentai will be using a traditional Blu-ray case for the Blu-ray releases. This will be their first multi-disc Blu-ray releases if I am thinking right. If I had a Blu-Ray player and a new TV I’d probably have gone for them because I do indeed like the Blu-Ray multi-disc cases better then the current DVD ones being used. Shame they can’t just come up with a case like the Blu-ray’s ,but with a white DVD logo at the top.

Edit: Forgot Legends of the Dark King Blu-ray set comes out next month so guess that will be the first

More Golgo as usual, I already have the sub-only set of Blue Dro, and Xam’d is a maybe right now.

Aside from those nothing else really interests me, but more Golgo is always welcomed.

Wow, I am impressed Sentai! Lets see:

Xam’d - An English dub and Blu-Ray! Pre-ordered
Golgo 13 - Pre-ordered this one since I have the first ordered.
Hell Girl: Three Vessels - Pre-ordered first collection would like to finish out the series.

Blue Drop - Will participate in the upgrade offer
Ghost Hound - Haven’t decided if I will just pre-order the Blu-Ray edition or will participate in the eventual upgrade program. I am thinking that the Blu-Ray collection for this won’t use a STACKpak but a multi-disc Blu-Ray case similar to Funimation’s sets.

I’ve never really got to watch X’amd. I heard it was a fairly good license, its good to see Section23 pick this up and even better to see it get dubbed.

You mean to tell me that Sony/Animax planned on licensing it? No wonder why it was dubbed!

All I have to say is thank god I waited before putting in my RS order.

:woohoo:

I’ll be adding all of the unupgradable ones to the list and just upgrade the other two.

SWEET, Ghost Hound in 5.1 english, and Golgo 13 too.
AWESOME!!!

Now inquiring minds want to know:
Who will play Taro, Makoto, Masayuki, and Miyako?

Most people assumed Sony was going to release it, as they had the digital license and simulcast it on Playstation Network. In fact, we played ads for it for months on our PS3 endcap at Best Buy. So, at least it’s got some advertisement going for it, and hopefully this is one they can get onto store shelves.

Maybe now there’s a good possibility of Sentai getting their hands on Cyborg 009 from Sony and giving us a complete release. It would look sweet stacked up next to my Skull Man collection.

…crossing fingers…

And they can use this pic as the cover.

AWESOME!!!

Make it so Sentai.

This dub as far as I can tell is being done by Seraphim Studios. So no as far as I can tell this is not a Sony/Animax dub.

That would be great, as Sony handled 009 horribly. I personally have other license rescues that I would love to see first, the Eat-Man animes and B’t X primarily, but Cyborg 009 would be an automatic purchase from me.

XAM’D!!

I’ve been tappin my foot to boom boom satellites all morning because of that show!

;3!!

Ha, yeah it’s catchy as hell isn’t it? Can’t wait to see it. Was considering buying it on PSN, but ended up buying FF7 and 8 instead. Worth it though.

Never mind my original post… :stuck_out_tongue:

Preordering the blurays tonight!

Wow those sets with dubs are a bit steep in their prices, I may grab Ghost Hunt.

To be honest I am surprised at the speed Section 23 grabs sequels to shows sometimes, I guess this is good for non-dub fans of Jigoku Shoujo.

Or people that Funimation let down by not spending money on a series that was huge sales let down.
