The Great Debate
The Waifu and I had a 25 year anniversary last year. We meant to take a nice trip to commemorate it but personal and job priorities got in the way. We are going somewhere for sure this year, but where? This is the debate. I wanted to go to Hawaii, I have never been there. The Waifu has been there several times before for surfing contests and wants to go somewhere else. Her choice is St. Thomas USVI or where we met at The Outer Banks in North Carolina. This debate goes back and forth. My Anime Brothers and Sisters! Please help me convince the Waifu on Hawaii
You could tell her that the Gulf oil spill will be reaching Hawaii last, and even then, the oil will blend in with some of their black sand beaches.
Personally, I’m looking to take a Mediterranean Cruise, African Safari or Japan withing the next 5 years. Hawaii would be in my top 5 along with Belize. Anse Source D’Argent, La Digue, Seychelles is considered by many as the most beautiful beach in the world(if you were wondering).

Honestly all those places are too hot for me. if this is a makeup for the missed 25th go with the wife and vacation at the place where you met, it would be more romantic and you could make it not just another vacation, but a trip that actually means something. If I remember correctly my parents went back to Nashville for their 25th anniversary, the same place they went to for their honeymoon. Sure they could have gone elsewhere, but the Nashville trip had more meaning to them. (that and my dad was afraid to disagree with my mom’s decision)

I was gonna throw a vote out for Alaska, but even though it’s summer season that’s probably a bad idea. Lots of bugs flying around, I understand. But the Northern Lights would be a cool add on for a romantic dinner.

You should throw out the places you both REALLY want to go and compromise.

Come to Maine. It is like Hawaii, only not tropical.

No…wait…You guys are supposed to on my side. If we compromise and eliminate all of our favorite places, we MIGHT just end up in Maine.

Land Of Lobsters and intoxicated Moose hunters!

Of course if We go to Maine I can visit Hentai and see his pet lobster, He taught it a new trick…

If you don’t mind the constant propaganda and being escorted by guards everywhere and being limited where you can go, I heard they are quite hospitable… North Korea that is.

I know, take her to Disney World… Ignore the man handing me money.
