The OVA would be nice, though I think if the new TV is a remake, I’d rather them not.
I agree - I’d love a continuation as well. That would be good news!
Episode 19 -
Leave it to Lala to ruin a good thing!!
ep 20
i coulda spent 26mins doing something way better!!! i kept watching hoping that it would end soon but it didnt until the end of the episode. oh well i guess… everyone needs a filler episode or two every now and then… lol
yoka
If you talking about the dream episode ya, I agree, that was kinda disappointing, but at least the entire series is awesome enough to make up for it.
Episode 20 was the most racist Anime that I have seen since BoBo-Bobo.
Was this a parody of Bobo-Bobo?
To Love Ru is probably the most perverted anime shows I’ve ever seen. There’s no such thing as an episode that doesn’t show nudity lol, unless I’m wrong I dunno.
I bet the animators of the show were pedophile creeps. And for god’s in the opening credits some guy’s name was next to a vag shot of Lala.
(I bet he asked for his name to be in the shot…)
I have nothing against the fan service. OK, Sometime I am not crazy about pointless fan service. I don’t think the entire series is racist. Most likely a parody of Bobo-Bobo.
They did the whole hair afro thing. Nothing about nose hair. The characters were all stupid and refer to each other being stupid. Not sure what the cross dressing streaking thing was about. (I have an idea on the streaking) Not sure where Havana Gila fit in.
Must you be to blunt about it?
I love this anime tbh, I find it hilarious and a lot of the stuff down right ridiculous. Often I find some of these things happening to myself , so it is just a simple reminder of life and how you shouldn’t take it seriously. Lol
Well, aside from the fan service parts that is… Though I’ve seen a few of the fan service things happen in high school and college, which I couldn’t hold in the laugh when I saw them.
I agree the fan service in this Anime is prefectly done. I don’t like when it’s force such has having a character randomly spinning in a chair to give fan service. Also, if it is a more serious Amine adding fan service or extra fan service is sometimes a bit strange.
Ep. 20
This is why your anime studio needs random drug testing.
Episode 20 -
An episode of Explosive Heat Magical Girl Kyouko! I was hoping she’d make another appearance. Her show is hysterical. This may have been a filler episode, but it was a very funny parody!
Not at all.
In this case, “afro” is not a nationality or ethnicity; it is a hair style that was used by the Japanese mafia (yakuza) in the 1960’s. (Examples of the Punch Perm Mob were shown in Gintama episode 04.)
Look at Punch Perm on Wikipedia.
Google images has plenty of examples of Punch perms
It was nice(?) to see that whether he’s a school principal or a fire chief, the guy is still a lech!
Yes, the guy was a lech, but the love interest, wasn’t much better. I just took the whole thing as a joke. It was like anime making fun of itself.
I actually loved episode 20 to be honest, I actually would like to see a real anime like that because I was cracking up and face-palmed so much. Heck, an amine where the main character solves all her problems with fire is a good one in my books, Ha. I did look at it like it was an anime making fun of itself though, so I guess that kinda made it all the more funny for me.
Exactly! And I wouldn’t mind seeing a few more episodes myself. I’m sure they could find many more things to make fun of.
I did think it was hilarious-it was anime’s answer to all those Gilligan Island (and other sitcom) dream sequences where all the characters assumed other roles!
Episode #26
Wow That ending actually caught me off guard. At first I wanted to punch the closest thing to me when it showed Lala breaking off the engagement to Rito. But then it pulled another 180 on me right at the end and did something I hadn’t expected, but was almost obvious, making her memory erasing invention not work(With her streak I shoulda seen it coming a mile away). The ending drew tears to my dry, rarely wettened eyes, for reasons I do not quite know, maybe it was the two 180’s it pulled for a roundabout ending, but damn it left me wanting so much more. I can’t wait for a season 2 for this anime if there is gonna be one. Once I go back to Texas the first place I’m going is Border’s to try and find the manga to this.
Episode 21 -
spoiler
Since Earth needs a hotel for traveling aliens, Rito gets elected to open one. He agrees only because he still needs to impress his future father-in-law. Mikado, tired of people staying at her clinic, suggests he use the old school building and Lala enlists Zastin and company to fix it up. Thus the Yukki Inn is born!
*
They do get some interesting guests and Rito really tries to please his customers and make the inn a success. Golden Darkness moves in too and she, Mikan and Oshizu get recruited to help out. An assassin calling her target “Master”? Too funny! But I wonder why Rito and Mikan weren’t in school. It did look like they were conducting business during school hours. Funny too that no one at the pool saw all the aliens going to the inn.
*
In any case, the inn was a good idea until it got destroyed and Mikado got stuck with everyone at her clinic! Poor Rito is never going to be the “greatest” at anything at this rate!
Wicca,
I have a feeling that Mikado may have been able to arrange a “reason”.
