I’ve gone back and played some more World of Warships, now that it has been out of beta for a while, and it still seems to me that it is artificially hard as the game does not provide you with a system for telling you where to aim your guns in order to hit the target.

It also has the “Freelancer problem” of not being able to maneuver the ship properly and use the turrets. I almost wouldn’t mind a co-op setup for the game where one person cons and the other shoots.

It does look nice. I really hope they’ll update the first 2 games with comparable graphics (a real HD remake, not a “Resident Evil 4” style one) and roll them out on PC on Steam/GOG.

Personally, I didn’t like the fact that certain elements of the game transcended time (eg: you can’t get infinite heart pieces). I’m also just not too much of a fan of non-comedic/self-aware time travel.

Sadly I wasn’t able to play the game “the way it was meant to be played”-I had to emulate it on PC and use a keyboard-because of the RAM expander requirement; by the time I got my N64, it was selling for ~3x the price of the console, where available. :frowning:
