So, game related jargon… got two copies of Modern Warfare 2 for my birthday, so I went down this morning to trade one in for a bunch of old used games, they told me they couldn’t do anything at all with an unwrapped game. Struck me side ways… but I had a gift card and I picked up a copy of Dead Space. Holy crap! That game is awesome! Wish I hadn’t waited so long to make a go for it. Very disturbing, that one is.

Dead Space is a great game. I just wish the sequel hadn’t gotten pushed back to next year. What place wouldn’t trade the game in? Did you get a gift receipt from whoever gave you MW2?

@ Hentai: Well, the problem with those fixes is that if still under warranty, you’ll void it. Not really worth the trade-off in my opinion, but I guess it is to some people. It is a problem with older models though. It was still a problem even after the die shrinks, but it was to a much lesser extent. I got mine (an original 20GB Pro model) back in March or April of 2007. I got my first RRoD in January '08. They sent me back a refurb that was manufactured before the one I had bought.
Sequel, hell yes!!! Yea it was Gamestop bro, I’ve got the receipt in my pocket, the game hasn’t been tampered with, and I wasn’t asking for money anyways. I don’t know what’s up with that.
Nah, I just meant if it’s unopened and you have the receipt, you could just return the duplicate copy and get the money back from it to use for something else.
Not sure if they’ll even do that. I didn’t try to argue point or anything, strictly in and out, but it wasn’t bought with cash so I don’t know how’d that’d end up.

Looks like Blizzard finally confirmed a release date for StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty last week for July 27, 2010.
I still dont agree with them splitting them game, but in my heart of hearts I know I’ll just end up buying them anyway. Damn you, Blizzard! >.>

So my 360 has already been repaired and shipped back. That means it’ll be around a 1½ - 2 week turnaround time. Much better compared to the one month turnaround I had back Jan. '08.
This “Project Natal” is looking like the future of gaming. It’s pretty cool. Even at this early stage, it makes me think we’re going to be in for some crazy technology in the next 10 years. Here’s a video of some games you can play with Natal(Hopefully it isn’t posted yet).

Ya, it doesn’t seem like it’s quite there yet, but it’s a nice start. I think that it will be great in a few years, once they get they upgrade the technology.

Personally I’m not too impressed with either company trying to horn in on the motion biz. It’s already declining in popularity, and from the look sof it, natal and move arent bringing anything new to the table and if they are, its not something better.
I’ll admit though that the recent Kevin Butler ads are pretty funny. Love the one where he’s playing GOW3 while the chick talks to him hahaha!

On a sad note, my PS3 bit the bullet yesterday, got the blinking red light thing. Gunna go out today and buy another one, then send the broken one out to Sony to get repaired, then try to sell it off or something. ;____;

You may be able to fix that yourself. When you start the machine, hold the on button until it double beeps, triple beeps etc… There is a menu where you can go to the menu and fix corrupt files, etc… I can find you the link to the PS3 forums if you want.

Tried that, it wont even let me get to that after i switch it on, its a motherboard issue. Debating whether or not i should just go out and buy a new one.
