So tomorrow is the big day, Modern Warfare 2. Anybody picking it up day one? I’ll be waiting till Christmas time. >:3
I swear, this game is like the second coming or something, no pun intended. I haven’t seen a hype monster like this since Halo 3. Okay, well it isn’t anywhere near the Halo 3 hype monster, but still. :silly:
I think this will come pretty close to Halo 3. Our local GameStop had over 300 preorders, and we had close to 70 over all the systems. I don’t think even Halo 3 touched that. We’re even doing a midnight opening for it.
There was an article in the AP at one point about how this game is breaking some records set by movies in the entertainment industry… I should go find it…
Though, since I only have a crippled gaming computer with none of the new gen computers, I’m not buying the computer yet…
Still don’t have a system that can play it so nope not going to be getting it. 
I still have not decided on if I want another game system or not. It’d be nice ,but I barely play games anymore. Was really wanting to play Dragon Age Origins ,but PC can’t handle it and as I said no game system its on. Was thinking of getting A PS3 still and skipping the bundle and put the other 100.00 to getting a PS2 slim since my Fat is probably on its last legs. Don’t really have many people that come over to play games anymore so don’t really need the extra PS3 controller right now. May do the PS2 anyway.
PS2 is still a great system and there are plenty of good games for it. I still go to gamestop to look for deals.
On another note I saw a Starfox 64 game at Game Exchange for $10 LOL. Shows how popular the N64 is

If you have a HDTV, the PS3 has a top notch Blu-ray player. I would recommend it to anyone. It also has a ton of cheap online old school games that you may find enjoyable. It doesn’t stand up to the Wii in terms of great downloadable games, but it’s close.

The PS3 is also one hell of an DVD upconverter. It actually made Ghost Hunt look okay. I was impressed! Plus, the ease of installing updates does make it one of the best Bluray players.
So anyone else getting “New Super Mario Bros. Wii” on Sunday? I’ll probably go over to Wally World around midnight and get it. Need to find something to keep me up that night anyway. Was going to get it from Toysrus ,but they are not doing anything special like they did for Mario Galaxy. So not much point in going out of my way.
Oh and still not fully decided on the PS3. May end up waiting to next year and see what Christmas brings this year. Right now I just really have no need for another system. Going to get a backup PS2 though for when my PS2 Fat decides it’s had enough. Probably need to get another memory card to back up the old ones Hard drive.

It looks awesome, but I probably won’t get it Sunday (no money). Maybe I can convince my mom to buy it for me + my sister + my girlfriend for Thanksgiving. Here’s a video of some gameplay (4 players) for anyone interested:
It doesn’t look like it will be so fun in single player, which would be the only reason why I might not get the game. However, most of the time, I’d have at least one other person to play with, so it’s all good.

K-Mart must have been mistaken. I picked up this game today, and its great. We’re playing 3 player mode right now(you can play 1-4), and it’s both fun, and frustrating.

I’ve been going over to my friend’s place quite a bit lately, mostly to play Modern Warfare 2 on his PS3. Seriously one of the most amazing FPSs I have ever played. Every time I go over there he has something new for me to become obsessed with. The last time I went he had tactical knife with a .44 magnum, increased melee range, and combat running. So I had a bad ass revolver, with a knife in my other hand for quick melee kills, that I can kills with from a longer distance away making it stupid easy, and I had infinite stamina and couldn’t take damage from high places. I got 7 kills running around shanking people before my first death.
I love this game, I’m thinking about buying a ps3 just for this game.
I’m currently on World 9-4 on New Super Mario for the Wii. I beat it, but need to get all the stars from World 5, and its a pain in the behind. Has anyone else beaten the game and made it to the hidden world? Has anyone beaten World 9? Does anyone think Bowser at the end of world 8 was the best ever? I certainly did.
