The whole concept of TAN has kind of evolved and not as theme-centric. It’s mostly, officially, Anime Network now.
Myesss Shak’s convincing of me to protest rai to get it to go tan again are probably illfounded. I shall have someone retrieve his head immediately.
I’m sure Rai will show you some love tomorrow. 
(tears begin to form) thank you for that, omegaweopon, for refreshing my memory. And good memories they were, too. The forum is just fine now, but cleaned up and a little more “corporate”. This thread brought back the “Wild West” days. anything went and it was exciting, gross, a little evil, creative, imaginative. Some of the members are now in the pantheon of Gods and Giants.
I think my “That’s just…Wrong” thread is the oldest continuous thread in TAN history. perhaps I made my mark…

OW, that’s a fab, blast from the past collection you have there. 
I have been banned from the forums more times (not nearly as long as) Anyother user. Even LordJin only had 6-7 I had over 15 bans to my name. Inbred got banned a few times before he was permanently singing in the b&. Yet, only the birthday issue was legitimate. But that counts for like, 4. I kept getting unbanned, then banned again.
I’m jealous, I only got banned like 4 times… the old forums wills always get my less-than and three though.
I totally remember being the last person to post in a bunch of threads on the old forums, back when we could find old links that could still activate it. This is after checking back every month or so. >.>
I totally forgot Rai’s old screenname was Raiken.

Hentai… first of mod kind, or was that Alita? or was that not until the middle-forums? Wasn’t it Jay who banned you, after something like someone hacking your account did something?

What happened with my ban is that my friend (Ichigo on the old forums) started mass-spamming the forums. Since we’d both used the same IP to post, jay banned me as well for “association” with Ichigo. Fun times. 
I think I might have had something to do with psychopuppet, I’m pretty sure he ended up being one of the three people I recommended to Rai at some point or another. I think either you or Rai messaged me on AIM one night, asking me in a really indirect way what I thought about being a mod, and BAM! chopped veggies.
Ahhhh, that’s right, I think that was apart of my downtime from the forums. What’s weird, is every time I’ve drifted away from the forums, something goes terribly wrong, those forums are shut down, and then someone (usually no one I ever really talked to much) would message me saying new forums are up…
I was one of the three that you recommended for the part. I remember when rai sent me the PM asking me if I wanted to be a mod. Then I got turned down for PP because he was an overall better choice. The forums wouldn’t have been the same to me if I became a mod. They would have been… a responsibility… ew.
