I watched 1-8 of the Friday the 13th movies during the month of July with my daughter. I came across the 8 movie collection for like $30 at Walmart & decided to buy it. We’ve been playing the video game a bunch so I thought it’d be cool to watch the movies since the game has locations and other things based off of them.

you know, it’s been YEARS since I read the novel and watched the tv mini-series, but off the top of my head the new movie is a nice blend of old school storytelling with today’s modern horror sensibilities.
