Maybe the quality of the show itself it not that great.
Really? I guess I was assuming Madoka-level animation and Madoka had a big difference, IMO, between the official blurays and dvds.
I’m guess the level of the masters might be somewhere between that of SD and HD.
There’s also the chance that the reviewer has some upscaling going on with their DVDs and are not aware of it. (I suspect that’s the reason I can’t really tell the difference myself)
