The Eyeds of March
not so good, because I’ve eyed them all before–except for the continuation of exactly one new show (Guardian Ninja Mamoru), it’s all reruns, and even a rerun of a rerun --i.e., Celestial Method, a show I’m unexpectedly fond of, but c’mon, AN, you just wrapped up the rerun in December! I’m afraid the only one of the reruns I’m actually looking forward to is Engaged to the Unidentified–though Gourmet Girl and HaNaYaMaTa were harmless enough…
Could we get more new stuff, AN? Or old stuff that you’ve already shown on SVOD that you haven’t yet shown us on FVOD? (It still seems to me there’s been quite a bit of that, over the years). Maybe I should reopen that call for nominations? After all, that seems to have gotten us Glass Maiden and Akikan…

Ouch. I was just reading the March schedule, and the week of March 8th seems to be the worst of it. A total of 10 episodes from 7 series appear to be scheduled for that week.
Also, when did FVOD change to primarily double episodes of series? I know it’s been a while now, but when I had Bright House (back in the day when @miquelfire still posted reports), the norm was 1 episode from 12-14 different series a week.

Both “Fantasista Dolls” and “Gourmet Girl Graffiti” have all-female casts. They should be listed under “Girl Power”, right?

As does HaNaYaMaTa. As does K-On! and (practically) Ebiten. Unless “Girl Power” is for powerful girl leads, in which case it should be Canaan and maybe Fantasista Dolls and (arguably) Ebiten. Unless “Girl Power” means shoujo, in which case it’s the place for Inu x Boku and Blue Spring Ride and Chunibyo and Amnesia (a more passive and powerless female lead would be hard to find). Unless the headings are meaningless and which series are assigned where is totally arbitrary on AN’s part, so that Fantasista Dolls are Action, and Amnesia and Blade Dancers are SuperHappyFun…oh, wait…
Never mind.
(Sorry, been quite a while since I’ve gotten to ride this particular hobby horse. Looks like this is Cranky Old Jababbi’s Pet Peeve Week.)
