A previous comment said that TAN channel on DirecTV is missing. The post did not say how the channel was accessed; there are several ways.

I have TAN channel on QuickTune. I’ve noticed that there are times when you can reach the channel by QuickTune, but cannot reach it by entering 1889 or through the OnDemand menu. I access TAN channel by QuickTune and don’t usually check that the other ways work.

If you are posting that the channel appears to be missing, please include the method you used to try to access it.

(In order of furthest removed from our reality to nearest, that’s Special A, Maid Sama, Wolf Girl & Black Prince, Say I Love You, and Blue Spring Ride, just in case you’re ever lost the multiverse and are trying to get back here. But would you really want to get back here? Dorothy’s “There’s no place like home,” doesn’t always seem that convincing. On the other hand, if you’re not the hero or heroine… Discuss.)

(1) I’m not quite sure what’s going on with Spectrum and whether expiring shows started on their final Thursday last a full twenty-four hours or poop out early. Two weeks ago, they unexpectedly did last until just before midnight on Friday; last week it went back to their expiring early, sometime Friday morning; this week it looks like we might get the full 24 hours. I’ll keep testing and see how it goes…

  • Invisible Provider page There is really no fix for this other than having users turn off their Ad Blockers

According to my records, you stated that you were missing The Ambition of Oda Nobuna , Eps 3 & 6. Shouldn’t 1/10 show one missing episode?

Yes, I was missing episode 03. But, the count is correct. The worksheet correctly shows episode 03 as backfilled. My mistake was that I didn’t mention it in the report.

The one missing episode on 1/17 is Oda Nobuna episode 06.

Okay, so three weeks ago, I started the shows just before Thursday/Friday midnight, and they lasted a full twenty-four hours, to just before midnight on Friday, just like they did in the (not-all-that-) old.days.

Two weeks ago, we were back to the new business-as-usual, with shows started Thursday night expiring some time Friday morning (I’ve never pinned down exactly when).

Last week, the shows lasted the full twenty-four.

This week…they expired early.

I am confoozled. (I still expect we’re probably back to the inferior new way of doing things, but I’ll run the experiment for a couple of more weeks, and report back.)
