Updates Received/Not Received 8/12/21 :: Time Warner Cable :: Albany, NY :: Zip Code 12203

Just The short version:

The arrival of a fully-clothed Seitokai Yakuindomo II #1, flanked by the unexpected and fully-clothed Seitokai Yakuindomo II #2 & #3, revived The Decently Clad Club–and panicked Undefeated Bahamut #8 into burning her mecha-print bikini bottom and rejoining the Streakers Society. Beautiful Bones #12 tried to comfort her by revealing itself to be a fusion and splitting into two, but that only helped a little. It’s now The Decently Clad Club 3, Streakers Society 13 (counting the twin Beautiful Bones episodes only once).

Translation:
(1) Everything I think was scheduled arrived on both Cutting Edge and On Demand, starts up fine, and has the the right expiration date;

(2) Seitokai Yakuindomo II #2 & #3 arrived unexpectedly, and–as SpaceCobraJoe noted–have the wrong expiration date of 9/9;

(3) Each of the three Seitokai Yakuindomo II episodes also has a promo with a different aspect ratio than the other two, though the episodes themselves all have the same standard aspect as all the other episodes;

(4) All the other episodes are promo-less and mecha-less;

(5) Beautiful Bones #12 is a merged episode, consisting of two copies of #12 (when I saw it was merged, I was hoping for a playable copy of #11–which still returning error 560032/episode-is-unavailable, but no). The two copies of #12 differ only in expiration date–one expires 9/9, the other expires 9/2. My theory is that when they were bundling things for shipment they bundled a copy with the wrong expiration date, caught the error and rebundled with the right one, not realizing this would create a merged episode. Unlike last week’s merged episode, the standard Ye Olde Kludge and Ye Newer Kludge separate the two just fine…but why bother?

One (1) show/series SD & HD have been added. One (1) show/series have been removed. Here’s the update to the entire list. As of 7/21/21, Frontier had added the missing folders that use to be in the Anime On-Demand over three years ago. I will list the episodes as they appear in each folder. Also added are the series episode counts. As of today, 8/14/21 @ 11:30 am, there was a change in some series SD or HD episodes, see below. Based on the post from @Slowhand, I have removed all SD entries under the “Problem” section. Although, Frontier is still loading SD versions that may affect episode counts. With all of this week’s other arrivals being from the Streakers’ Society, Undefeated Bahamut #9 decided to go back to wearing a mecha-print bikini bottom as the sole remaining representative of Team Topless. It’s now 0 Decently Clad to 11 Streakers Society to 1 Team Topless. Everybody starts up fine and is on both Cutting Edge and On Demand with the right expiration date. After the Rain #4 and After the Rain #5 are still mislabeled on On Demand, Beautiful Bones #11 is still unplayable, and Beautiful Bones #12 is still merged.

Yes, it was back with contents Tuesday evening.

I also need to let you know that I will no longer be doing DirecTV reports as I am no longer a DirecTV customer. I finally got fed up with things that don’t work and subscribed to Dish network. Dish does not presently have The Anime Network. If they pick it up, I will do reports for Dish.

If anyone wants to take over the DirecTV worksheet, let me know. Give me the email address you have registered with Google and I will send you a copy of the sheet.
