Logic does not apply to anything Aniplex does in so far as servicing the Anime market in North America is concerned.
If they were logical about it they would not be trying to sell into the market on their own since this mothballing of titles is a consequence of their presence.
It is literally leaving money on the table and walking away, not normally a sustainable business practice.

So Aniplex USA’s Eromanga Sensei , Blend S , and Oreimo Blu-rays are listed in the out of print section at Rightstuf. So stayed in print just a little over a year . Maybe if a half decent deal for Oreimo pops up I’ll buy .
