Here I’m thinking ‘Ooo! They’re bringing back the novel line. NOICE!’
I see the cover, and I’m like ‘Ehhhhhh…really?’ but I still get it ‘shrug’.
I read it and I’m like ‘No’
It reads like a Nickelodeon show or something like Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place.
I’ll just say, If you LOVED D&D Honor Among Thieves then you might like this.
Same humor, same tonal whiplash, same ‘found family’ (in Vin Disel voice) dynamics.

Part of a series, but reads like a stand alone story. Hope to read the rest of the series someday. Really enjoyed it.

I kind of quit the series right around The Dragon Reborn. Mainly due to the fact that Rand, Perrin & Mat are the most ungrateful bastards to Moiraine, whom without, all 3 would be dead.
