Stopped by one of the local McDonald’s for a mcmuffin with egg sandwich and a large coke no ice . Girl taking orders seemed distracted . Get up to the window . Sure enough to busy texting .

Little bit of hypocrisy, but really wish that we could lock away crew members phones while they’re working. Seriously, you are getting paid to serve guests, not check your Facebook feed 
Yes I know it’s the responsibility of the manager to make sure it doesn’t happen, but we can’t be everywhere at once…

It was during what I guess would be the second breakfast rush here . The place it is used to be the Tastee Freez and the lot was set up more for that type of place . So any back up causes some issues .
On another note think I need to stay off Amazon’s toy section and away from a seller I found on eBay . Keep seeing figures i don’t really have room to display I want to buy ,but the money could be spent on anime . Not doing my Joe convention in GA so that’s a lot of money I had figured as spent now . I do have a few on the way ,but those bath towel SAO figures and a certain Saber figure are tempting me . >_<

Found a use for the leftover Mylar from the insulation I did for the ferals outdoor houses .
Sun beats in the window where the a/c is to keep the garage temp down and pretty much forces it to work harder . Some Velcro plus the Mylar and this keeps it a little bit cooler . Have something else on the way ,but Amazon failed on it’s one day shipping so had to do this to it gets here .

This evening I got a phone call from my GM. She told me, as I have been with McDonald’s for so long, and that I had been doing such a good job at keeping food cost down at my old store, that I am officially being promoted to Kitchen Department Head Manager as of 5/23/19. My new store’s current KDHM is being transferred to a different location today. Wishing for the best for him, as the store he went to really needs help in all departments, not just kitchen.
Right now I’m so happy. However, I have more responsibilities now, and that makes me super nervous. Please wish me luck you guys. I think I’m gonna need it.

Just bought something off Amazon marketplace from the publishers storefront there . Went to see if they had anything else I might be interested in . Did not realize they had mostly adult books listed . Really not much safe for work . Teach me to to do more then look for what I had in my cart already .
