New discs were out this week, so it’s time for a new newsletter!
The unofficial theme for the titles that came out earlier this week are, significant video upgrades. Everything out in October is getting a major video quality improvements.
Hopefully you already have them, or at least that they are on the way…

Street Fighter 4K HDR Preview
We’ve made a clip of the film, featuring Ryu & the Hadoken from the end of the intro sequence, plus the entire Cammy scene that follows, as a bit of a better preview.
The reason for this clip is simple. Good previews of HDR materials before you buy the disc are often hard to find just due to the nature of it requiring compatible hardware, & simply it being available to preview.

The YouTube video above features 4K HDR direct from the disc you can order now.
We really recommend you watch it on a screen with good HDR, but even if you don’t, the uptick in detail & quality from the prior Blu-ray needs to be seen to be believed.
The extra compression from YouTube knocks the quality down, as you’d expect, plus HDR tonemapped to SDR can often be a bit off colorwise, but regardless, this is a preview we really wanted to share and hope you enjoy!
