Yami: “OH MY GOD… THESE ARE INCREDIBLE!!! They have cheese sauce instead of tomato sauce, and have bits of onions in them too!!! YOU GUYS HAVE TO TRY THEM IF YOU CAN!!!”
Napoli: “Agreed!!! And here’s an internal shot of the cheese, onion, and steak filling!”
Nemesis: “And the absolute best part? $4. Yes. The same cost as Maou paid for the last two items we posted, and about 10 times the quality!”

Yami: “They’re decent, but nowhere near the quality of the one we had in NY, which Maou forgot to take a picture of… However, for the cost of $3.50 each, they’re still very much worth that!”

Many years ago I had an unfortunate encounter with a gyro at the food court in the Quail Springs Mall in OKC. Never been able to stomach them since. Just looking at these makes me queasy. Sorry about that.

Yami: “Hmm… The curry flavor is very subtle. It’s very buttery with a decent amount of spice, but probably wouldn’t buy again. Hopefully the other one we got is better.”
I always had to add more stuff to make those things taste good.
Even a little Tabasco, sweet chili sauce, or some Sriracha goes a long way. Even some Taco Bell sauce helps if you have a pack or something.
It’s usually one thing that is cheaper or easier to use overpowers or waters down the flavor for me.
Had to run to Poinciana today, so absolutely had to stop at Sonic!
Yami: “The footlong chili cheese coney with a large chili cheese tots and a cherry limeade! Pretty much our mandatory order every time we go here! Lol.”
Nemesis: “This is actually the very first time we’ve been to Sonic in 2025. The last time we were here, Mama Maou had just passed and Maou and Papa Maou had gift cards that Mama Maou had bought them for Christmas 2023…”
You’re inside a Sonic? (The one’s in Ohio are like the old 50’s Burger joint stops, Where you order from your car and they bring the food out to your car, or you can do Drive Through)
The location in Poinciana Florida has an inside seating area, as well as carhop lanes and a drive thru.
Most Sonic locations are as you described, and as a matter of fact, the location in Idaho Falls Idaho was my first job, back in 2006!

The Halloween menu at Burger King!
Yami: "The Jack-o’-lantern Bacon Whopper, Vampire Nuggets, Mummy Mozzarella Fries, and Franken Candy Sundae! We also got an order of the jalapeno cheddar bites!
Mikan: “The sundae tastes berry flavored with cookie pieces and popping sprinkles. The nuggets are adorable, boxes in a coffin, shaped like bats, vampire fangs, and ghosts! A bacon cheddar whopper is always delicious, and the orange bun makes the ambiance of Halloween so well! Oh! And the jalapeno cheddar bites are just as good as they were when BK used to sell them long ago!”
Nemesis: “Now for the negatives… This entire spread was $20, ordered from the website. Not horrible, but still a bit costly, and would have been more if ordered at the store itself. The freestyle machine was out of everything except Mellow Yellow and Hi-C. Again, tolerable enough, cause didn’t specifically come for a drink, though the girl did say that they no longer carry Surge, which is a bit upsetting… And the Mozzarella Fries… They’re not bad. That isn’t the issue. They didn’t have a special container for them… Not sure if they were out or it wasn’t one to begin with, but the picture had them in a mummy design box…”
Yami: “Oh. And the marinara sauce pack… We CHUCKED that thing…”
Nemesis busts out laughing.
Yami: “After Maouy’s rough day yesterday, I took him to KFC as a treat, cause he was talking about the rerelease of the honey BBQ chicken the other day.”
Nemesis: “The sauce is just as good as it used to be! And we also got the potato wedges.” She looks away slightly with a blush. “Maou’s were better…”
Mikan: “And this is one of the rare still operating KFC/Taco Bell locations, so we’re able to get the legendary Mountain Dew Baja Lightning! The combination of Taco Bell’s Baja Blast and KFC’s Sweet Lightning! Lol.”
A rough day and you NEED to be treated well.

It’s got an egg white, roast beef, jalapenos, crispy jalapenos, jalapeno ranch dressing, chipotle dressing, onions, tomatoes, spinach, spicy salsa Roja, and pepper jack cheese!"
Nemesis: “So… The toilet will be on fire later today I see…”
