Yeah the main violence tonedown in Season 1 was with the fight with Myabi. She impales Myabi at the end of the fight, In the anime Elize and Yumi arrive before that happens:

Freezing is published on a 1-5 chapters a month schedule. So there is enough material for a season 3 (Which would cover up to the end of the Transcendence arc.)
Nice to see a manga-based show that hasn’t caught up to or overrun its Manga. I still think that they should have waited for more of Titan’s Manga before they made the anime as by the time season 2 is made I’m afraid that the fever season one caused will have died out.
I’m kinda leery of reading the Manga past the episode material of the manga’s anime adaptation after Titan. Some mangaka can draw, making the read worthwhile even if the story fails (Vinland Saga as an example) but the Titan guy…shudder. I’m also afraid of seeing something sucky that the anime would eliminate. While freezing looks to be doing the opposite the suck of the death note manga is burned into my brain (sometimes the anime director has a better understanding of the works than the mangaka, which is a paradox).
Aren’t Funi trailers normally a bit more than that? This is just a linear clip taken from the first few minutes of episode one; Where’s the cheeky on-screen text, the rapid cuts and the techno/dubstep music?

I guess because it’s not really a trailer - just a promo clip for the upcoming DVD/BD release.
This has been available for download from iTunes for almost a year. I bought a copy. I will STILL wait for the dubbed version. I didn’t hesitate to get the first series after watching just 2 eps on AN. I got Demon King Daimao the same way, but I bought it from RightStuf and not Amazon.
Been watching the dub on the home video release. Surprisingly, Jamie Marchi as Rana Linchen, is the weakest performance so far, as she’s playing Rana way too over the top, it’s almost like she’s playing a parody of her performance in Season 1, which was one of the better performances.
They changed ADRs from S1 ( Jerry Jewel is the ADR for S2) so that might be it.
