Now I’m torn… should I get this?
That Collector’s Edition, man oh man.
I wonder what the chances are that Brotherhood will get something similar?

Very simple - yes and yes!

This is pretty cool. The best part is that, unlike the Darker than Black release, this doesn’t seem to have an arbitrary limit on the copies that Funi can make imposed on it by Aniplex.

I really like that Funi is offering the whole series for 50 bucks as well as a high-priced super edition. Aniplex could learn from that…

BTW, what is Funi putting into the super-amazeballs edition that makes it worth 250 bucks?

it’s all that leather to give it a grimoire look and feel

I like the red box from the CE, but I’m not too interested in the other goodies in that set. If the lower-priced Limited Edition had that, I’d get that one.

Hmm, not sure what happened here, but @FUNimation let a whopper get through.

In case you’re wondering how the FMA discs look, decent upscale, but meh encode. Not Sentai bad but definitely breaks up in busy scenes.

Given how it’s is an early digipaint show, it’s still a lot better than I thought it’d look. Worth the upgrade, esp from THOSE DVDs.

Looks like they need better copy editors.

Ouch, Sentai’s got a rep :frowning:

This is a hilarious Funi Flub though. On the plus side, at least they didn’t label yet another upscale as “HD Native”. Funi just can’t seem to catch a break with their boxes, can they?
