So I needed something to hit $25 for free shipping to get some peanut butter they are doing away with . Decided to order Aokana essentials
Well I think it was a shear miracle it arrived intact . 2 disc stuck on a single disc hub recycle case or whatever they are called . Looking at all the holes in the digital copy code I think it held the disc in place . Glad I had some double disc cases leftover . I know this is a cheap release ,but even Mill Creek puts better effort in now a days .

I too am no fan of these cheapy sets, I have never liked the “Recycle” logo cut out of the cover, and stacked discs on a single single are a capital crime against collectors.

Those are a lot of essential releases. Too much if I say so…myself.

I ordered from Target some stuff like the peanut butter had that same dumb $25 order requirement Amazon does on some stuff .
Most of the essential sets I have are series I just want disc of . Stuff that I don’t see the point in paying $30 plus more for most essentially a slipcover and not having a logo . I know some look at them as cheap trash ,but they serve my want to just have the disc . Plus the digital copies are not to bad to have while they work that is .

Good thing is during a sale most of the essentials releases are under $20 so I might use it for shipping filler at some point to see unless it get confirmed before then . Worse case I get a digital code for myself or someone else .

I can’t shake the suspicion that Space Dandy is being released on the Classics line just to save face.
Doesn’t look like there’s anything really up my alley for January. Interesting artstyle for the box art of Black Clover box… at 9 episodes a box with over 
episodes, and counting, who has that kind of shelf space? 
On a side note, looks like Funi is getting back to 5.1 audio for the dubs, how good are they?

Coincidentally, I had just gotten around to watching ep 1 of No Guns Life. It was interesting, though I’m not sure that I was expecting the protagonist being half “chain-smoking hard boiled detective” and half Al Elric 
Dunno about Radiant, I saw some but it seemed to get real-world present-day political and I’m not sure I want that in my anime.
