Isnāt the 2005 version the one that was so poorly received (sales wise) that Sentai decided to not license the second half?

From what I remember they licensed the whole thing ,but that first set sold so bad they canceled the second ,before they got around to even subbing it . Iām not 100% on that though .

That would make sense. I always wondered why second half never came or air on anime network. Crunchyroll has had the second half of the series for streaming. Hopefully it will be complete series for streaming at least on Hidive.

The announcement said 26 episodes, so I doubt that would happen.
You never know though.

Thereās only one problem with this version of Glass Maskāwhile the press release says 26 episodes, the anime actually had 51 episodes. The series was reportedly cancelled by Sentai due to poor DVD sales.(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass_Mask#Anime) It would be nice if we could get the missing 25 episodes so we could see the conclusion of this series.
