Following the fan response to the weekend news that the English dub of the new season of High School DxD will feature Josh Grelle and Kelly Angel, replacing Scott Freeman and Teri Rogers in the roles of Issei and Akeno, FUNimation has updated their post with a statement about the change.
FUNimation is running English-subtitled and dubbed simulcasts of this season’s High School DxD BorN (Season 3).
They wouldn’t have got such hostility if they’d come out with this right away, instead of doing the cast changes without explanation. Next time, do better Funimation.

13:26:42 <bay|AX|FUNi> English dub trailer…
If only Funimation had discovered Matt Mercer’s talent for ecchi shows in time for this. Grelle might sound similar to SF, but he didn’t bring the same talent.
Only extras included are the 6 eps OVA shorts (5 min / episode) and the trailers (Textless OP and ED are standard anymore so not mentioning them after this)
No Episode commentaries, and I’m assuming it’s because they would have had to deal with all the dub casting controversy surrounding this season.
