I’ve seen that, and forgive me if I say that’s useless to me. Only the first 5 episodes of the two series I want to see are available, beyond where I am already, and at $2 per episode for that matter. I guess I’ll have to wait and see if froyo does the trick on my phone, and in the meantime, maybe borrow my sister’s ipod touch once in a while.
Ok, sorry, didn’t know if you had checked that out yet. I’ll ask on Monday and see if there are any plans for more episodes or not. Check back![/quote]
So, I just got the app for my iPod Touch (32G 3rd Generation). When I go to play the episode, I get a blank screen and then it exits out of the app. I have made an account because I thought that it would help. Nothing has worked so far. Do I have to subscribe or something? I just want to watch anime.
Okay, so I got tired of waiting for people to answer me back, so I tried out a few things. I logged in, plugged my iPod into my computer, went to the episode and pressed watch now, and I hoped that it would work. Lo, and behold, it did. I am so happy right now.
I tried downloading the Anime Network App on my iPad. While that went well, whenever I try to watch a show, it takes me to what I guess is the viewing page, but nothing will play. Why can’t I watch anything. I registered for an account and everything. I’m using a WiFi connection, if that helps answer my question.
When? Because I’m still having the same problems. I deleted the app and re-installed it twice, updated it, plugged the iPad into my computer…I did pretty much all I could think of. =\
Of course it’s only thanks to a little jailbreak magic :). But the devs certainly should have already known about that error easily with their sims! If it helps, Crunchyroll got hit with that exact bug a few weeks ago and they fixed it within a week. So much for showing them! But I know you guys are working hard on it.
@Bozzak - If it doesnt work on an hIOS4 device thats a different bug then. So it looks like we have multiple bugs. We’d love if you could submit a bug report but you cant unless youve jailbroken your phone! EDIT: Did a little more research and found out that the UIPopoverController is only available for IPAD. So now I see exactly where the coders went wrong - they assumed that any IOS3 device was the same as “IPAD”! While technically this is now correct for the current OS version (although now EVERYTHING is on OS4), it leaves out any iphones or itouches still on OS3. To the devs - there are reasons why some of us still dont want to upgrade to ios4 on 3rd-gen devices. PLEASE take a fee moments and update your hardware platform “if” statement to account for us non-ipad os3 users!!
