Turning it into a more robust version of Love Live now kinda takes away from that a bit. How did they retcon that at the end of the series, one character was pretty much on death’s door?

I don’t think Freya was at Death’s Door, but she was pretty close to the end of her lifespan iirc. Unless being near Mikumo has a life extending effect

I hope we get a english friendly version of Frontier , other Macross shows , OVA’s , and movies that don’t have them at some point . I think a few like Delta already did have them .
To me them settling the whole issue is pointless if all they do is focus on Robotech .

I’m not sure how I feel about those being handled by HG . They keep reusing the same old copy they originally received years ago to “remaster” Robotech and pretty sure the same is what they will do with them . While to their credit they did at least store it well it’s just not as good as what JP has .
