Finished up ep 08
Alright, that episode was just a little too random.
With very little ‘funny’ to boot.
Especially the elevator bit… wth was that?

Another really funny one!
Yuko vs. mosquito
Mom wins!
Finished up ep. 10
It’s not always funny, but some parts are just hilarious!
Mai is sooo sadistic with Red Light/Green Light.
And Mom wins again against Yuko!
Finished up ep. 11
That was definitely the most boring episode thus far.
Though that glue part was pretty funny.
Finished up ep. 12
Yuko actually did her homework?!
Then of course, promply forgot to bring it.
I think that part actually produced my favorite quote from this series thus far though.
I forgot my homework… I’m just hoping aliens invade…
-lol-
Poor Yuko.
I think any episode that followed 7 would have paled in comparison.
After watching episode 13, I’m looking forward to seeing where the show goes in the second half.
I’m guessing it will still be there ordinary life, this series is a lot like Lucky Star in that you know if you like the humor early on at least. I don’t see much difference coming in the second half.
Finished up ep. 13
Man that was funny!
Yuko being really sick and still trying to do cheesy magic tricks!
Episode 13
I don’t care what else happens, if Nano doesn’t go to school for long I will find a way to kill Hakase
Finished up ep. 14
I’m not too fond of the OP/ED song changes.
But the ED animation is just awesome!
Someone put that ED sequence altogether.
As for the episode…
Man, that argument between Mio and Yuko was just too awesome and funny!
It reminded me of how my best friend and I have fun some times.
That sequence is beautiful. I didn’t realize it went together like that. Nice!
Finished up ep. 15
Save for the few times it’s slow, this series always seems to hit my humor button just right!
That whole school scene at the begining was hilarious.
Nano is so cute in school!
And Mai’s little pranks trying to get proof that Nano is a robot was just too funny.
Nakamura trying to tranq Nano was pretty funny as well!
Finished up ep. 16
Hahaha, Mio rules!
That vending machine part was beyond hilarious!
You’d think she’d learn by now, not to carry around her twisted artwork though.
I think Mio was trying to get her manga to a publisher or printer, but she will do anything to protect her art/secret.

I’d more concerned about QC then anything. Bandai has not been the best at that. Plus unlike some companies they tend to take the first masters they get and don’t bother to check if they are the good ones or not. Plus not been a fan of whom they’ve be getting to dub stuff. Like I said with K-on Bandai should just let other people have this type of stuff and stick to SCIFI anime.
Dude, now u sound like the trolls on ANN who said, and keep saying the same thing, about Sentai when they license and release sub-only DVD’s. It shouldn’t matter who releases it, so long it comes out without any major QC issues, of course that also has to depend on any Japanese-induced restrictions, if any. Could also be the reason they didn’t ‘let someone else have it’ - no one wanted it, and Bandai might have gotten a good deal/packaged deal for it - one that might include such dreaded restrictions.
Could also be they wanna have more than Sci-fi stuff in their library. You don’t wanna be pigdeon-hole into one genre and then get badly hit when said genre goes through a slump.
And besides, this is America: land of free market Capatilism
VIVA le Free-Market!
VIVA le Capitalismo!!
VIVA le Hotties!!!
I can troll all I want cause unlike a lot of them I actually buy stuff even if I do have problems with it. I honestly call it complaining because I can complain.
As for K-ON I’ll just leave at someone else did have it for a few months. So it was not no one else wanted it. I think the only other people that were told who by the one no longer here have said it in the K-ON thread.
Bandai use to be my second favorite company behind Pioneer/Geneon. Yes ADV was my third.
Bandai has had some problem with disc over the years. Most were player incompatibility issues. In recent years though it’s gotten to the point I’m afraid to buy something until I read a review which usually means waiting longer then I want to since I miss out on sales waiting for reviews. Bandai usually fixes stuff, but I honestly don’t like the idea of sending disc back until I get the replacements. Plus from past experiences getting a replacement with no scratching is rare. I really don’t think I should be afraid to buy something without hearing how it came out first.
Now Funimation and Section23(Just putting that to cover the multiple companies they distribute for)honestly are the best companies in my opinion. Both have issues, but they’ve not made me afraid to buy from them to I hear how a release came out.
Now I have a feeling a lot of Bandai Entertainments problems are coming from their Japanese parent. So my issues are more with them then Bandai Ent. Seriously when your owned by a company and can’t get a good master or a episode of a show they put out there is something wrong there.
In closing great they got something, but I’d honestly rather them go to Funimation or someone else. Does not mean I won’t buy. It just means I’d rather someone I’d not fear a issue with have gotten it. If they put out a release on par with what Funimation or Sentai Filmworks does I’ll more then happily give my money to them if I’m still collecting anime by the time they get them out.
Do you really think Bandai is dubbing this? Lucky Star bombed and this doesn’t have the Haruhi connection.
I was very happy with both Bandai’s announcements this weekend, made up for the joke that was Funimation, who I knew would screw over Otakon when they announced Deadman Wonderland and Stein’s Gate.
Episode 17 –
I really enjoyed the part with the house of cards. It played like an old silent movie and was hysterical!
