what is the difference in the subtitled and the dubbed versions, it appears to have different number of episodes - on demand (cox cable)

The last two ‘episodes’ of the Subtitled version are just extras, one is the Preview that was sent out ahead of the series and the other is the Promo that showed on the On Demand channel prior to the Anime coming out.
